Hello! I'm in need of some help. I'm not an electrician, but would like to wire I'm some lights for the bed of my truck. I have watched numerous videos on this topic but still have a few questions. I would like to install a fuse block further down the road, but for now I want to install these lights with a rocker switch. I know I need an inline fuse, but I don't know if the one I have is okay for my installation. Also, can I run both sets from one switch or separate the two? Lastly, what size fuse should be used in the inline fuse?

Your truck may come pre wired for the bed lights. Remove 1 of the tail lights and see if it has a extra connector inside the little cubbies. I know someone I work with has a 21 without the lights but he already the connector if he wants to add any.

Thank you! Another question... what if I was to put these same set of lights under the wheel well. Would that in-line fuse be okay or would it be to big for the application?

It depends on how many watts/amps the lights use.
It also depends on how you plan to have the light come on/off.
As well as where you are placing the switch.

Well, the lights say 1.5w on the actual lights themselves. Not sure if that's pure light casing or the whole thing. I would place the switch to the left of my steering wheel and turn it on and off with a 3 prong toggle switch.

I would say it’s 1.5 watts per diode. Seems more realistic then. 0.5 watts per diode.
But I’m not sure, just used to dealing with led lights for film and tv.

typically the stamping on the component indicates total wattage for the component.

otherwise, i wanna stay out of this one. if you're not sure, either do more research, or take it to someone more confident in wiring.
