Wiring Fog Lights With DRLs

Can I just tap into the acc fuse? Or should I make a harness to tap into the DRL wire in the headlight. From previous forums I think it’s the pink wire

It's the GREEN.
Are you installing stand alone fogs? If so the green would be the trigger to the relay, as in the fog relay would get signal to turn ON when DRL are ON when cab switch is ON. (if switch is also added)
Issue is DRL Green looses juice when Low beams are selected (if LED type). The DRL gets power from the TAIL after. (DRL's dim)

FYI, OEM wiring also cuts OFF the juice to the fog switch when HIGH beams are selected.

 

Don't be one of those that drives with the fogs on 100% of the time.

 

@CT Yankee ha nah not fogs. Just the DRLs like running lights

 

@caribe makaira yea I was wondering if I could tap into the DRL and parking to have them lit at both times. I think MESO has something like this so may just have to pull the trigger. I saw @daveeasa giving good remarks

 

And sorry. Fogs have a DRL option and then full fog

 

David has a diode harness I drew to prevent each circuit from feeding into each other.
