i have an 07 Taco w/TRD Sport Package. While changing the LED's in my cluster, I learned that the wiring for the rear differential lock is installed. Could I just install the switch and enable this capability?

You'd have to change out your rear differential carrier plus there could be other things that need changed or added to make it work.

You could remove the mech LSD (if this applies) and put in an aftermarket locker, but it'd be easier to wire it up separately.
