I bought a 2022 Tacoma and I guess this guy was on drugs or something cause he cut the wire harness that goes to tweeter and door speakers I want to put it back to original but I can’t find where in the wire harness he cut it out from I just want to put back regular speakers to have some sort of sound in truck. image.jpg

Follow the aftermarket wires. There's not enough info in the picture there to tell you how to correct it, but whatever that is, it's definitely not correct. Also, follow the wires to the door speakers. Where do those lead?

Stock wiring is supposed to be HU front channel --> tweeter harness ---> door speaker. The tweeter's four wires are the pass through from tweeter to door. Some people relocate the pass through to an aftermarket amp or at least an actual filter, but generally they do that when they install quality tweeters.

If it's been altered then there's no telling what was cut and where. Unfortunately you're going to need to pull everything and detangle the mess.

Sounds like I should just run my own wires from head unit to tweeters and then to door speakers instead of trying to deal with some dumb drugged out peoples work thank you guys for the reply

If you get a 9 volt battery you can at least see if that wire runs to the door speaker , if you connect the wire to the terminals on the battery and it’s connected to the door speaker it will make a pop sound .
