I searched google and I've seen some on Ebay. I have OEM foglight housings but no wiring whatsoever to hook them up. I don't even have the OEM wiring which some trucks came with pre installed. In other words, there is nothing there from the bumper to the firewall.

So what do I need and where can I find it.

    Thanks in advance.

I did search here and google btw....

It comes as a kit with new housings, there is no way around that. So, pick one set of housings and sell the other. It'll knock down the cost of the harness. I sold the housings that came with the kit for $100 shipped.

So I have to buy a whole set of fog lights just to get the wires?

    Yup.

Or you can buy the same thing in aftermarket parts and still get housings you don't need and are of inferior quality with inferior quality wiring and inferior quality switches.

Trust me. I have been in those shoes. Selling housings is easy. I've sold 3 sets.

It is expensive for wires, but like I said - sell the housings.

This is what my weeks of research yielded when I wanted fogs and wasn't pre-wired. I assure you this is the answer to your question, and that I've done the research for you

Damn. Alright, thanks again for your help...once again, and you're right, the OEM switch alone is $70 from Ebay.

The switch in that kit is illuminated also. It comes with absolutely everything, relays, wiring, switch, zip ties, everything.

Thanks so much for the link, that's awesome. Unchained5150 gave me such an INCREDIBLE deal on the housings I got from him that I would have to give my extra housings away and pay for shipping just to feel like I paid it forward....

Thanks for this. My base came with fogs installed, and it does appear on cursory review to be OE parts (at least the lights and switch). And they work.

However, I discovered they create dark current, so if I don't use the truck for 4-5 days the battery is drained.

I can tell from just underhood review they are powered up incorrectly. Looks like someone tried a lazy man's way, so I've temporarily disconnected them.

The PDF will help me in correcting that issue. I'd sort of figured out my own method, but it will be good to have an 'official' document to compare too.

Apologies for reviving an ancient thread but I’m wondering if anyone can help. It looks like the OEM wiring kit for 2nd gen fogs has been discontinued. Does anyone know if there is a different OEM kit (3rd gen) that works with 2nd gen trucks that don’t have fog wiring behind the bumper? Looking for an oem solution for my 2013 that doesn’t have any stock fog wiring

I can't answer your Q, but I did save the install PDF that came with the kit. That could be helpful, as it lists parts, tools and install instructions with photos.

Shoot me a PM if you want a copy.
