    Hi Dave. Will the sr sx harness work to convert my halogen headlights and allow me to install the trd pro headlights part numbers:

    Part Number:81110-04300(Right
    Head Light that says TRD)
    81150-04300(LeftHead Light That says PRO)

    just want to make sure because the headlights are expensive and the vendor is saying nobody makes a harness. Appreciate the help.

    It will. The harness is definitely good, but I know Dave does some added goodies to the different kits, so I’ll let him verify which one :)

    Hi Dave,
    I have a 2022 Taco SR and swap for the LED headlights. I'm trying to buy one of your harnesses in your site but it says that my address is not supported, and changes Puerto Rico in the box next to the phone input to Canada. Can you fix this?

    Please, let me know how can we proceed, you can ship USPS Priority like any other continental state.

    I live in Puerto Rico, 00949. But your site changes my country to Canada, ???

    Hello, I've got the LEDs arriving soon. I have a 2018 TRD OR and am tracking the harness I need to get, but have a question as to the variant. I have some DD SS3s that I'll install as fog lights at the same time as the headlights. They have the back light feature.

    So I'd want the dual output LED harness as well as the 2 x 12" fog light harness option? Do the fog light harnesses connect directly to your dual output LED harness? I ask because the description of the fog light harness mentions a 1 x12" and 1 x 60" option for connecting both to the driver side and am confused as to which setup I need. Thank you!

    Hi Dave,

    Do you have a harness to convert my SR5 headlight to a set of Tacoma Headlights with DRL on 2018 TRD Pro. I want to stay somewhat stock.

    I sell an SR / SR5 SX to OEM LED conversion harness (but sold out just today).

    I do not make a harness for TRD Halogen headlights on an SR, that's not an upgrade and not worth doing, just a different "look".

    Thanks for the quick update. Would you be willing to help show me where you get the connectors and if you have a part number? I will try to make a set and hopefully not blow up anything LOL

    It's not easy to do b/c the SR has combined DRL and Turn on a single wire. Changing to an LED board for DRL and a discrete bulb for Turn requires a solution to de-multiplex those signals. We use a relay and a timer, hence the $200 purchase price for OEM LED conversion. It's effectively the same requirement with halogen TRD Headlight conversion harnesses for no net gain, hence I don't spend any time building them.

    I strongly advise against doing what you are doing, spending lots of time and money for the same crappy halogen headlights you already have. Go OEM LED.

    But I will identify the connectors for you. The TRD Halogen headlight will effectively use the same connectors as the TRD OEM LED conversion harness:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oem-led-conversion-harness-diy-info.700623/

    So, to build out an adapter harness from SR to TRD halogen you'd need these two connectors as outputs:
    DRL: https://www.corsa-technic.com/item.php?item_id=992
    Turn: https://www.corsa-technic.com/item.php?item_id=899

    Sidemarker, low and high beam connectors are unchanged.

    To interface with your SR OEM harness you need one of these:
    https://www.corsa-technic.com/item.php?item_id=1041

    Which is the same style as used in the turn signal location at the rear taillight (fun fact). You can visually confirm this part with your truck as well. It's a standard 3 wire Toyota bulb connector, used for quite some time (same style on my '02 Tundra and '05 Tacoma)

    Oh, and also, pinouts for SR 3 position are

    1 == DRL + Turn
    2 == Park
    3 == Ground

    For the TRD DRL and Turn connectors, refer to the DIY thread and photos.

    If you were to connect SR DRL + Turn to both turn and DRL directly on the TRD Halogen headlight, your turns would be illuminated with DRL. So, one thing you could do is turn DRL off in the head unit settings and use add-a-fuse on INJ to send DRL to your DRL board, thus forcing it to be always on.

    Outside of that you really must de-multiplex somehow and Johnny has invested a lot of time figuring out the best way to do that with a lot of potential solutions. We've settled on the "easy install" option for now as the best plan but there are ways to get more of a TRD behavior (no startup turn flash when turning on DRL the first time) with added install difficulty.

    TLDR: This is not a great beginner project, it's much more challenging that it might appear and for the time spent you'll just be so much happier going OEM LED.

    Now, I will mention that the morimoto xb v2 is available with an SR/SR5 harness and I believe will work (Intergerdy has that setup). I am personally not a fan due to the lack of uplight but I will mention that option for completeness.

    My advice is OEM LED and the SR/SR5 conversion harness, 2-4 hours to swap them out, and you're good for 25 years.

    Will auto high beams work correctly with this harness?

    I’m watching this thread and will purchase an SR harness when they become available again. Coming from Lexus triple beam headlights to these SR lights sucks!
