Wiring help for puddle lights and interior leds

Sorry for starting a new thread about this but I'm about to install 4 puddle lights with wiring running under the door trim and wanting to tie into the blue ground wire for the dome lights like I did with my footwells lights.
I have leds installed in the cupholders and plan to add more for subtle interior lighting. My question is, instead of tapping the blue dome ground and the yellow power wire, can I do an add a fuse to the dome light fuse so I can switch the footwells on via the dome light switch and still have the ground hooked up to the blue wire?

As for the four led lights rated at 9v could I run a ground wire from the footwell light from both the driver and passenger side lights(to retain the dome light ground) to ground the 4 puddle lights? If so, where should I tap into the power? I'd like the puddle light to turn on when the door opens/lock and unlock.

 

Just wondering... why do you need poodle lights? Asking for a friend

 

Looking to add in rock lights that tie into the blue dome ground, what else would I need to do to make it switchable too? Blue ground->rock lights->power, switch-> make a separate ground for an added switch?

If I were to add a fuse should I change the 7.5amp fuse to a higher rated one?

 

Which wire did you tap into for the footwell lights?
