Wiring help please.

Hello to all.. Quick question, I have a 2013 Taco with rear view backup camera,temp and compass in the rear view mirror.. I'm trying to hard wire my radar detector using a product called mirrortap anyone know the color codes for neg and pos on the harness that plugs into the mirror? I did a search but didn't really help much.

Thanks! Figured out the POS buy still having an issue finding the ground....

 

I believe the green wire is +12v and the black/white is ground. You can confirm this with a multitester.

 

I just ran mine to the fuse box jumped in on an accessory fuse. Plenty to ground to down there.

 

Thanks for all the help and looks to the thread.. Got to work today and got the tester out and for a 2013 Taco JBL with Nav and Entune compass/camera rear view this is what I used from the wire harness that clips in the rear view mirror.

Black= 12v positive
Brown= Negative/ground
