Trying to install a led light bar on my Tacoma and not having any luck. The problem is the switch light stays on all the time. I have a mictuning switch and there wire harness. Can any tell me if I wired this switch right if not what do I need to get it right.

So I have black on black wire, green blue wire on white wire, red/yellow next green wire hooked up to blue, and the other red yellow wire next to black wire is hooked to a add a fuse in the tail light fuse box.

When all the wires are hooked up and add power the blue light bar symbol stays on all the time. How do I get that only come on when I press the switch for the light bar to come and off? The bottom letters only come on when when I turn on the tail lights..

    Thank you for you help.

googling the mictuning schematic this is what I see. You want the green wire to connect directly to the battery through an in-line fuse or add-a-fuse, the red1 to be connected to your light bar or relay, red2 connect to the truck's green tail light wire circuit which supplies +12V when the headlight switch is on tail or headlight mode. The black goes to ground and provides switch closure for the "LED light bar" icon light on the switch as well as ground for the light bar icon on the switch. Not sure where you tapped into the trucks wiring but hopefully this helps.

Did you ever find a fix for this? Am looking to get a couple of their 12awg or 14awg harness and switch.
