Wiring Led Light Bars,Bull Bars,Spots etc...explaining which wire to which wire

I had this all written out but it disappeared before I could post it so here goes nothing. Hopefully someone can pin this so it is easy to find.

I added a 52" Led light bar, a 22"Light bar, a bull bar led and 4 spots and each had it's own set of colored wires. I bought OEM style buttons to go in the existing unused button areas. The button harness had Green,Red1,Red2 and Black wires. In each instance Black went to Black but Red did not go to red ever.I thought logically it must but it did not.I found this out the hard way and had to re-do everything so I'm leaving this info here to save people tons of swearing, guesswork and failure before success.

Led light 1 had Red,White and Black wires.
Green from the button harness went to red of the Led harness,Red1 of the button harness went to White from the Led harness. Red2 went to a fuse tap in the tail lights slot.Black went to Black.Done

Led light 2 had White,Blue and Black wires.
Green from button harness went to White from Led harness,Red1 from button harness went to Blue from Led harness.Red2 went to fuse tap.Black went to Black.Done

Led light 3 had Red,Yellow and Black wires.
Green from button harness went to Red from Led harness,Red from button harness went to Yellow from Led harness.Red2 went to fuse tap.Black to Black.Done

Led light 4 had Red.White and Black wires.
Green from button harness went to Red from Led harness. Red from button harness went to White from Led harness. Red2 went to fuse tap.Black to black.Done

All 4 buttons worked as they should from this configuration. Push button(top portion graphics of button illuminates) Led light turns on. Push button again, top portion of button goes dark and Led light turns off. Turn on Tail Lights(words on Button Light up)Push again, words go dark. I spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure all this out on the internet and I couldn't get cut and dry results so through trial and error I figured this out and luckily no fuses or relays were harmed during the making of this post, hopefully you will see this and it will save you the trouble.
