I believe the 86 pin needs to go to +12v as pin 5 on the switch is a switched ground.

    Hey guys

I was wondering if anybody could help me out.

So I decided to go with the relay route however I want to hook it up to its own switch that I bought. Correct me if I'm wrong or If I've got the right idea.

From what I gained from this thread, am I able to:

    1. Connect terminal #30 to the battery (has an inline fuse)
    2. Connect Terminal #87(the two red wires) to the positives of the Led lights
    3. Terminal #85 to the green wire of the switch (see switch diagram)
    4. Terminal #86 to the ground wire of the switch
    5. Red wire of the switch tapped into the wires on terminal 30.
    6. The yellow wire on the switch is supposed to be for the dash light
