I need some advice for wiring light pods into rear bumper, I am wiring them off of switch which has wires that are about 6 inches long and pods are close to the same, do I need to get a long wiring harness now? Any recommendations appreciated.

Unless you're going to put the switch less than 12 inches away from the lights then yes you will need some sort of longer wiring. Is there a wiring diagram with the pods or switch? That would help you a lot. Otherwise Google how to wire a relay. It's 4 connections and very easy. Also unless you like car fires a relay is not optional.

How do you plan on installing the lights in the bumper?
