I recently bought a used snugtop camper shell. the new camper shells have a module that tidies up some of the wires and power to the brake light, dome light and usb. along with remote lock/unlock

i have pictures showing where each power source goes into and out of the module. I don't have the molex wiring harness for the usb; ill post pictures until then. hopefully this helps someone in the future it saved me a couple hundred bucks wiring it myself. I was tempted to delete the module and just bypass but i got around to testing it with a battery and multimeter. this is my first tutorial so forgive me. but the pictures should do justice.image0 (2).jpg image1 (1).jpg

Bump - anyone know which wires are for the lock/unlock?

trying to figure out why my prolock stopped working. I believe they’re on the white connector, want to know which wires on the 6pin connector trigger it.

    Yep, 2 wires.

I metered them going into the white molex connector under you thumb in the first pic.

I’m hoping it’s just a bad wire splice somewhere bc I get ~0.18v pulse when triggering the lock. Do you know which wire it is in the 6pin going to the tail light?

ahhh. i bypassed that and went straight through to the actuator. in my experience; since i got it used. one of the molex connectors(male was bent/tweaked and wouldn't make good contact inside the female(which is housed in module. inspect female/male terminals for damage?

as far as the 6 pin. i only have 2 holes unused left over. i dont think they would work. one is power the other is ground. my understanding is that the 2 tailgate wires are more of remote wires oppose to a power/ground. the module is a power supply and grounded. not sure how you would get the 2 wires to work running the 6 pin. maybe pictures of your set up would help me understand it more. when i went to a snugtop dealer with the aftermarket prolock they didnt have it wired to the module. but straight to the tailgate. not sure if that was due to laziness or because the shell was retrofitted to use the keyless lock

here are my wires. Looks like the blue/green are passed through the terminal block for quick connect convenience.

Blue/green wires on the white connector go to the prolock.

All 6 wires from the black molex go into the tail light assembly. The green wire has an inline fuse (not blown).

Which/where would I find the wires going to the actuator?

I chased the two leads through the tail light up to the driver side door.

Is the black wire next to the red/white wire on the 6 pin molex the ground wire?
