I'm going to copy all the info you posted and see if the stereo shop up the street can do it cheaply. Already talked to the boss and he said to bring the truck in with info and they will fix it, so....

Cool. Did you try to get it activated like the link in post #19 suggested?

Here's a simplified one for the horn.

The center wire does not have to be "made" it's the original wire removed from connector 1L_8 to T11_10, which needs to be.

OP, FYI, in case your Tacoma does not have a DRL Turn Signal Flasher...(12 pin vs 8 pin)

    upload_2019-11-3_13-46-27.jpg
You can get the drl harness ($15.00 approx.) Part# 82241-04030

I just installed a remote start that has a wire for tapping into the horn, but I’d love to keep the original beep. Is the “beep” created by this buzzer device?

I wonder if I could run the wire out of my remote start unit up to the buzzer direct and have it work?

If the alarm tap is negative. You'd need a hot, fused power source for the buzzer, which you probably have already.

If you can't find the 3 way diode and the connector, you could use these diodes and connectors. Tundra 2007~11 & Tacoma 2016..

    upload_2019-11-29_15-11-9.jpg
The TUNDRA ones are all the same, the numbers are for their location in the harness.
