I've added April 18 to my calendar for a TWAT run. I like the idea of doing Potosi Brewery again at the end.

 

I still haven't checked out the whole museum.

Can you guys tell me about the twat run? Where it is. How long you ride for?

no helmet laws here in MN. But I like a helmet for all the obvious reasons!

 

The museum was cool as hell, but keep in mind, I'm a huge beer enthusiast. And yeah, Lansing sounds good! I need to GPS map the route so I can drive it on my own. Can't wait to see the same autumn route in spring! Also, I still have your trail stickers, James. I legit have them in my glove compartment in case I run into you.

The Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail runs about 600 miles up along the Mississippi river, and croses several states. It's a mix of off-road and paved road, but aside from a few spots, you could do it in a stock Honda Accord. It's not a challenging run, but it's fun and the views are amazing. We'd probably do about 2 hours of it between Lansing MN and Potosi WI. It's the coolest part of the route from what I've seen.

 

It's a series of gravel roads that stretch from Potosi to Ashland. Nothing challenging. Fun drive.

No, it takes two days unless you really push it. I wouldn't even attempt it in one.

We usually pick sections to do. The southern section is my favorite

 

Yes. I haven't seen the northernmost section yet. Maybe this year.

The biggest challenge for me was not crying after I put about 10,000 scratches in my 4runner when it was only 4 months old on road 327, AKA thr pin-stripe road. This is not part of the section we'll do in April, though.

 

Up around Black River Falls is pretty cool too

 

@Thatbassguy I want to go back to Black River Falls and check out that trail that I almost got stuck on.
