I'm going to throw a sleeping bag in the truck...I may just stay overnight. If I do, I may as well...damn, check that. We've got a dog that I'll have to leave out in the morning.

So far the plan is to leave Monday morning.

But like any plan it's subject to change.

He leaves for work @ 4:30. She's a Border Collie, OCD runs deep, regular schedules are usually preferred.

I think I should throw a sleeping bag in the truck and show up Sat evening, leave the dog home, get home late Sun. Don't get me wrong, she's a good dog, but she's fully Border Collie...high drive...OCD...on a scale of 1-10, she's about an 11.5. I'm not used to having a high drive working dog around all day every day any more. The way this has been working so far, I get her up and spend a couple of hours with her, put her in her crate and go outside (or anywhere) to do stuff for a couple of hours. Spend more time with her while I eat lunch, then back in the crate while I get some stuff done. By then, my son's home and he can deal with her until he goes to bed. Then my turn again until bedtime.

I may linger on Monday possibly

Edit: looks like I’ll be with Pat and Dan on sunday. I’m thinking on camping there on Saturday as well if there is room.

Looking forward to this. Just need to finish packing and get one more slider installed with a break in weather. Garage is stuffed full so Im working outside and getting a break on the weather has me a bit worried lol.

I'm solo so far for Sunday night on site #66, so we can feel free to spread out if we want.

I'm going to plan to leave early Sunday morning and maybe catch you guys at 9 in the parking lot. Otherwise I'll plan to find you on the trails. Channel 16?

Also, don't forget that you can print out your safety checklist and fill it out beforehand...

I think 16 makes sense. Good call on the waiver... to bad I don't have a printer.

I'm only a couple hours away but if I'm too tired I might stay.
I don't have an OCD Border Collie though my son is also an 11.5 on the scale.:D
Whether I put up the Rightline tent or sleep in the driver seat, I'm still in the market for a potential Sunday night squatter position if nobody has any takers.

If you get a taker, they can have it.

Edit: I'd bring my son but idk that he'd be able to handle an entire day in the truck and he's most adamant about NOT spending the night....anywhere.

Guys, I'm curious who all has reservations, and which days.

So far I have in the OP:

    Site # 62 @Camerasandcoffee + wife, room for 1 squatter

    Site # 65 - @pearing - Sunday night + @Taco-Grinder + @McSpazatron

    Site # 63 - @Getuponit - Saturday - monday, June 8-10 + room for squatters

    Site # 66 - @rubbersidedown - Sunday night, June 9.

I need to confirm which nights @Camerasandcoffee is camping, and whether there's a designated squatter yet.

We have 5 people camping Saturday, but I can only confirm that we have one site. I was planning on squatting, but I can just come Sunday morning if there isn't room.

Who else has reservations, if I don't he have them listed?

I'm kinda tempted to stay Sat night, if I can find a space or in someone has room for a small camper.

    Definite similarities!

At one point, we had 2 Huskies, 3 Pembroke Welsh Corgis a Border Collie and a Swedish Valhund. With that many, you do get a break in that they occupy themselves to a point.

Except for a weekend here and there, I haven't had a dog around in almost 13 years. At times, she's a challenge, wanting constant attention.
