For the 29th, I'm thinking we just meet at the usual place around 9-10am (open to others' preference here).

Probably run trails until 4:30-5, or whenever.

I'd like to go through the section with murder hornet hill, and maybe more of the less rocky areas.

The usual area we end with might be sketchy. I'm curious if anyone else has input about specific areas they'd like to run, or avoid.

    Thoughts?

I really don't have any input on trails as I'm still kind of a pipline newbie. Meeting at the park and ride is good. Maybe closer to the 9am time, that way we get a little extra day light after our parking lot bs session.

I would agree, the hill on the northern pipeline route would be sketchy.

The Cathedral Woods section I did a while back might be pretty, but its a little ways away from the usual area, and it’s a fairly short run, maybe a couple of miles long tops. I have to look at maps again, but I think there might be some decent flat trails near that area.

If there is snow cover, it will probably be fun enough on the flat stuff. We can stop at a grocery store parking lot so jstemp can flex that new long travel. They’d probably have some decent snow plow piles by now haha:laugh: it would be sad to
go so far and not get to see some wheel stuffage.

Maybe we say 9, and hit the road around 9:30? That gives time to air down and discuss the route. We always have time for more BS when we get to photo-op areas. :)

I agree that the simpler sections will probably be pretty entertaining with snow cover.

There's a section north of where we usually stop that was pretty fun, but not too intense. Could be worth a look. Also, we could run the bypass around the north section and avoid the hills and more rocky areas.

So we are meeting at the park in ride off of 64? I am planning to head up either Thursday or Friday after work. It's been cold up there not sure about how much snow.

    Also, for Saturday.

    Maybe bring a snow shovel.

    Recovery gear.

Dress warm, in case we have to recover someone.

There's a good chance somebody is getting stuck.

    I'm looking forward to it!

I'm in and cast my vote as well. A buddy of mine with a 2nd gen will be coming up as well. His is lifted with a winch.
