PIPE stickers have been ordered, cost is on me. Once I get a proof, I'll ask you guys to PM me quantity and mailing address. I should have them by Sept 27th, provided the proof sticker is what we expect.

Not really, since only about 4 miles of what we drove was the actual pipeline trail.

Plus, there's another really cool section that we skipped that was blocked by downed trees. I had almost forgotten about it until I looked at my dash cam videos from last year.

If anyone recalls, I mentioned on the CB shortly after we got past Ford boy that we were crossing a section of the pipeline. That section had some cool terrain, similar to the last area we drove through. I actually backed out of it due to a large puddle. I'm going to try to get through it this fall if I get back up there, depending on the tree damage.

Here's some pictures of the section we missed from last year. Plus it's nice to look at the old Taco once in awhile:)

There was another big-ass rock in that section, but I didn't even think to attempt it. I'll try to find a picture of it.

those type of rocks were brutal on my old suspension on the road we did go on, not the steep one downhill, it handled that fine only because i was just letting it idle all the way down and used gravity

Anyone familiar with the TWAT? Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail? I think I heard a couple of you talking about it. That could be fun too right? And only a 1.5 hour drive for me to start.

We pretty much did that. The sections we skipped were areas blocked by storm damage. I'm hoping some of those sections get cleaned up. I'm going up there in October and I might look into clearing some of the damaged trees, but I don't plan on messing with it all day.

I would recommend the section from near Potosi brewery to Lansing, Iowa. It's nothing challenging, but there's good scenery. All of the other areas I've seen are just flat gravel roads through the woods.

Also do NOT drive down road 327 in the clam lake section. Pin stripe city!

if you have a snowmobile it would be loads of fun in the winter probably
the dust on the road from everybodys truck totally caked every inch of mine including the inside vents and I am still cleaning up 2 months later!

Then an ipad or equivalent with gps and gaia app? Download or pick a route? Something you can still use offline or without data?

I'd be interested in this, but I think a trail sticker for it could be interpreted as offensive. :p

It was alot of gravel roads. Grant County was cool and there's a section that runs through Iowa that I hear is cool, but for the most part it was disappointing

Did you cross into or out of the Menominee Indian Reservation? I know a few years ago friends had issues in that area. I’ve heard different sides of it. Some never had a problem and a few others getting speeding tickets for 2mph over speed limit.

I passed through there on Sunday, I think. Hwy 55, north of 29. We used to go up there every November and stay at a resort and gamble.

I once got pulled over for 60 in a 55, and I thought it was ridiculous! Got a warning.

I could potentially make it up to the pipeline again this fall! Especially if it's during the week.. or well a Thursday and Friday. Or a Monday, Tuesday.
