Well, now you probably scared him away!

    This is the correct response.

Yes, 20 degree sliders using it as a step is impractical. Mine are at 5 degrees, it does work a step. Not so much as to get into the truck but to reach for stuff on the roof rack.

Mine are angled, and work decent as a step. My Mom, her BF, and my ex all mentioned that it was much easier to get in with them installed. I've also missed them when loading the Kayak.

You got tonight plus 2 more days! Plenty of time to find 20 minutes to put the tent on!

While you guys are out having all the fun, I'll be running around getting stuff ready for the missus.

Driving my MIL to O'Hare around midnight on Wednesday (yay). We get along, I just hate driving down there.

Thursday (wife's birthday) we're checking out a Korean BBQ place out in Mequon and then catching a show at Turner Hall.

Friday I'm taking my old man's CR-V into the dealer. Sounds like they have a similar recall regarding the frame. They have a shitty response to it though. At least Toyota is willing to replace some frames.

Saturday is a surprise birthday tailgate with a buddy's family. They helped me get her name on the scoreboard so that should buy some brownie points for future purchases :p

Somewhere in between all that I need to squeeze in the 120k service I've been preparing for.

This all sounds like excuses but trust me I wouldn't mind sneaking up there for a day at least. Have fun ya'll!

Woah! I was liking about cruising around near my favorite campsite tomorrow. Looks like I wouldn't be far from you all. I was hitting up the logging trails recently. They make for an exciting ride but also make remembering routes tough

The good thing is flying into and out of o'hare will be a breeze at that time, all tolls are automated now so if you don't have a pass just breeze thru and wait for the bill.

That's what I'm here for, the mods and the gear.
Where on Bear Paw Lake are we meeting? Google maps takes me to the eastern shore. And for some reason, it thinks I have a snorkel and tells me to go to the middle of the lake.:rimshot:Untitled.jpg

Weird. I just checked the link in the OP and it wouldn't work. I added a new link for the location. Hopefully it works.

that is accurate. There is a requirement to test the Tacoma fording ability before heading out on the trails
