They have craft for that kind of thing up in the Dells...

In fact, they might have used similar craft on this very day 79 years ago.

Question for the group. As part of my usual pipeline prep I take off my mud flaps to keep them from being squashed. Since we aren't going to be on the pipeline proper, and hence will miss out on murder hornet hill and the rocky bypass is there still a need? I know we had a blast last year on a bunch of the other trails but I don't remember anything rocky enough to warrant removing them.

Obviously I will hold you guys accountable for any damage based upon your advice, thus avoiding all personal responsibility for my own actions.....

If you don't loose a mudflap did you truly go wheeling? @Thatbassguy seems to loose one every outing lol

    Shots fired!

Getting a set of Rekgen or Tufskinz is on my list but to your point that hasn't stopped @Thatbassguy from removing them forcefully on the trail.

    Had to change plans :/

But yeah I know the trails around that area pretty well. I've been taking my dirt bike around there for years.

Try and get to the spot I have on the map (the marker is actually one of my all time favorite camping spots fyi).

It's on Old Grave Road west off of "T". Once you get on the gravel road, as you drive it, you'll see 3 trails to the left. The first one is really short and pretty boring, the second one comes to a couple dead ends iirc, and the third one that goes up a small hill and to a large campsite is the one you should take. Miles of trails!

On that third trail if you take it to a T intersection:
    • left will take you to a wide trail that will lead you to a road. (There is a small lake there that is beautiful if you want to take a short hike in the woods, just follow the deer trail)
    • Right will take you to a TON of trails and logging roads in various conditions. One route leads to Mile 9 pub, but im pretty sure your not supposed to drive because it's used as a horse trail... so I only take it on my dirtbike ;)
There is a logging road off of Fish Hatchery Road that was was a fun one because the crews tried to block it off for, you know people with Fords. I saw a couple of downed trees passed the blockage, the first one I could have gotten around. Not sure about the second one as the GF was starting freak out thinking we were going to get stranded so I turned around.

One last note: would be a good idea for someone to bring a chainsaw along

In my retired world, work is a four letter word. ;) On a lighter note, my shade tree painter called yesterday and is taking delivery of my rear bumper today. I was hoping it would be done in time for this weekend but that ain't gonna happen.

Is it the campsite near the middle of this map?
How do you know which of those trails is open for public use?
