Might be able to camp nearby at Wyalusing.

Plenty of dive bars and weirdos in Prairie Du Chein.

Dive bar and weirdos sounds perfect but I'm outside Chicago so that makes the trip home even further. But Prairie Du Chein does look right up our alley... May stay in Dubuque to get closer to home. Thanks for the suggestion.

7:30?! I'll talk it over with the betterhalf and see what we can do. But more likely would leave early Friday morning and stay Friday night.

Ha... I got a 1.5 - 2 hour drive to Middleton, Wisconsin from my house. Gotta get up at 5AM? It’s easy when it’s something you want to do vs. work! It’ll be another vacation day I’ve burned for a Toyota related trip!

    Sacrifices we make!

oh. And the 3 - 3.5 hour drive home from the brewery! Lol

I’ll have to live it through your pictures. This adventure is a little to far from home base for me. If y’all we’re heading north so I was working my way closer to home I would join you guys.

Yeah, I'd like to try the northern parts of it too, the southern was ok, but certainly not challenging.

    Even a two-track would be nice... ;)

The chance to put it in 4x4 would be nice.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice ride and would be very cool with the fall colors.

I’d like to do the north end also but it will be more than the 12 hr round trip planned with some beers and lunch at the Potosi Brewery . I don’t have 2 days . I have less than 14hrs starting at 5Am. Just figured after 4 or 5 events (beer garden & meet ups) in Kenosha, the beer garden in Racine last week and the camping in NE Wisconsin in August, that a easy trip for Madison area people would be a great idea. Plus Octoberfest at a Wisconsin brewery ? Winning! I was hoping to see @ajmogen ’s front bumper!

***I would like to do the pipeline for the day but I don’t think thats any quicker. Add dinner and beers at Jungle Jim’s and our babysitter taking care of my kid may have a issue! ***

@BookieBob I'm 99.9% certain that I'll be working on the 16th. Probably won't be able to make this trip :(

I hear ya. The Covid farce really screwed things up this year for doing any fun group off-road rides. I'm hoping things change for next year. For now I guess blizzards are my next hope for some fun ;)

There’s no part of it that is challenging. It’s pretty much just gravel or a couple forest service roads.
