I was going to ask if you were bringing your kayak. I might bring mine as well.
Did you reserve the campsites already? If so what do we owe you?

I did reserve Picnic Point for Saturday night. Friday is not reserved as Point Detour is FCFS. We'll have to get settled in and pay in town when we go to dinner.

I don't think there's anything too jarring up there. But, I understand young kids come with challenges. Either way, there will be room if you guys decide to join us.

Be prepared for some rain this weekend, y'all!

Both Friday and Saturday we have a chance of rain + storms. The good thing is that this could keep the dust down a bit.

Just strap it to the roof. You’ll be fine

Depending how long it is you could strap it in the bed hanging over the tailgate.

I’m slowly getting loaded up. Hoping to leave before 8am tomorrow. Also hoping there aren’t any low hanging branches on the trail!709670C0-0DEB-4C20-8C17-D2ECD803ED86.jpg

    What @Shellshock said.

Or, leave the tailgate down and strap it down in the bed. That's what I did before I put the rack in my tonneau cover.

I picked up a set of foam roof toppers at REI today. I’ll see how those work out.
How early is everyone hitting the road?

I’m hoping for something between those two extremes!
