Is this for a group site or do we need to get individual sites? First time joining for camping not sure how you guys normally roll.

James prefers if we all sleep in his tent, real cozy-like.

Kidding aside, it varies based on the campground. In this case, what worked well was each of us having our own site, as they're on the smaller side and fairly close together (I suppose you could fit 2 trucks on each if needed).

Here's a link to the reservations, just select Wyalusing in the drop down: https://wisconsin.goingtocamp.com/

I thought the same, but maybe covid had something to do with that (staffing, etc.).

I can book mine now, is there a preferred group of sites that we try to stick to?

IIRC, the available sites from 150 - 141 had the best views. Also convenient access to restrooms, water, and the shelter if needed - last year, it definitely was due to high winds and rain.

Edit: Wyalusing did say that we could reserve at the station if needed, based on availability. That said, as some of the sites are already booked, it wouldn't hurt for us to reserve.

I'm going to try to get 142. I believe that's the site I was on last year

    Update:

    Hey, guys!

    April camping trip!

    Wyalusing, April 8-10.

Ridge sites can be reserved here:

    https://wisconsin.goingtocamp.com/

I'm on site 144 and @jstemp is on 142, so try to find something nearby. Or, if you prefer more privacy, don't. ;)

Plan is to set up camp Friday. Whoever gets there earliest can get some sites picked out. Bonfire/bs Friday evening.

Saturday, head for Lansing in the AM, T.W.A.T down to Potosi, grub at Potosi Brewery, back to camp for bonfire/BS.

    Sunday- coffee/breakfast, pack up.

    Looking forward to it!

Thanks @WiscoPat for looking into the reservations!

I'm happy to book 143 but will wait on Jonathan because he usually has camera gear/drone, so the electrical hook up onsite may work out in his favor.

Someone could just book it and share the power. I don't think it will really matter if some people switch sites, either.

I also just cast my vote in the poll.
On the plus side my loan was approved so I should be closing on a full tank of gas just in time for the trip! :spending:
