My friends... my dog Stewie and I cordially invite you to a WI Tacoma owners beer garden gathering at Estabrook Beer Garden in Milwaukee. (You 4Runner guys and other capable formats are welcome, of course, but if you show up in a Rav4 you will politely be asked to relocate your vehicle to a remote lot.) Bring your wives and dogs, and even kids if you want, but leave the cat at home.

Stewie and I are proposing Saturday, October 15th at 3pm. ***UPDATED TO SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22nd*** If multiple people tell me that that's the worst possible time to drink beer, I might be open to other suggestions. Can I get a non-binding shout out from those who would be interested in joining my dog and me? If nobody shows up, I'm not above drinking alone and putting Stewie behind the wheel for the drive home.

Sounds awesome, I live literally 0.7 miles, I might be working. But let’s see.

Hey Bayfield crew! Getting excited to see everyone. Two, possibly three firetowers are to be "summited": two for sure. The third one is for James because he said he wanted to climb one and it is the only one that you don't need to be a 20 something to get up... I am snagging camp sites after work today and double checking some rout possibilities-just be warned it will be scratchy in places... The mine is an exciting place to explore: Here are some images from before, so you can compare!

If you find a kinda remote site for me, that might be handy. I picked up a small Honda generator to heat the pleasure palace in case it gets way too cold, but it’s not as quiet as I’d hoped.

I was think of using it to heat up the palace before turning in, then shutting it down. If I end up freezing in the middle of the night, it just might come back on for a bit though.

I feel like I'm being challenged here. I've climbed a few fire towers over the past few years, and I've climbed the stairs at Holy Hill. I think I'll climb all 3. :)

You'll have to sleep at a rest area with the rest of the truckers. :p

I'm willing to give it a shot, as long as it doesn't feel like it's going to fall over. Even then, maybe...

Well... My daughter's dance instructor just scheduled a recital for the 15th. I should probably be there and be sober. I'll need to confirm availability with my activities coordinator (wife) but I believe Saturday the 22nd at 3pm will work. Sorry for the false start fellas...

I most likely will not be climbing the fire towers since I have an un-rational fear of heights. Heck I don't even like being this tall.

Same. As much as I would love to get some photos from the top.
