Not much information there for us non-Facebook types:(

Just date and time. I guess I'll have to check out their website to see what the park is like.

Thanks everyone! My taco has a little over 200,000 on the clock so I was a little worried about off roaming without some work. I have some firestone destination AT’s on her that only have about 15k on them do tires should be good I think. Bought it with plans on building it up for overlanding but just have done much but tires...lol

Sorry that was a long winded explanation to say that I would be interested in going if I can swing it with work.

That is so very little rust for a '97. My 2007 had more rust than that when I traded it in. Great job keeping her clean and well-cared for!

I'd be interested. If you go, let me know! I don't have any plans for this Sunday, currently. However, the Facebook link says short wheelbase, 137" max. We're 172". You think they're strict on this? Don't want to get there and find out we can't do the trail.

[EDIT] Apparently I'm dyslexic. On my fact sheet, I wrote the wheelbase down as 172". It's 127".

thanks, that is probably the first spot I have always hosed down in the winters at the outside wand wash
it had rubber undercoating applied on the outside and under the frame since new, you can see remnants of it in that pic before i sandblasted it all off recently
but the paint has been failing in spots and its creeping underneath gradually
i really had no idea how serious of a problem the rust can be on these trucks until i saw TW pics and a few visits to the local salvage yards here this summer to investigate
the worse spot i have found so far is by the drain hole near the cat, nothing but surface stuff so far

I saw this event in a group on Facebook. $40 per vehicle though!? Likely mostly jeepers? I think I will pass.

I'm interested. It depends on how things go at work on Saturday. I have to shut down a factory to terminate some feeds. It should be an easy day. But, if the shit hits the fan it could get ugly.

Maybe meet up near the border and caravan down?

$40 is a bit steep. I'm torn about these types of places. It could be good experience, and a chance to push the truck a bit.

    :notsure:

I'm debating on going myself. I never liked the idea of paying to drive around an enclosed property. And yes, $40 is steep for what it is. And yes, most likely a bunch of jeeps.
I'll post by Friday what I decide

I feel like I'd be more interested in going on an open trail day. Maybe with a few guys from here. That said, I might go if a few others do. Will play it by ear.
