What a fantastic weekend!!! @Peeing on jeeps , bud, you missed it. We found mud. The kind that make your wheels bounce when you finally hit pavement. You would have been proud! Great food, great company and stellar wheeling... couldn't ask for more. On the way home this morning through the mighty Penokee mountains I discovered a trail I didn't know. Unfortunately, it lead me a couple miles into "Ent" territory and I got blocked by a mere 2 inches... Tried valiantly but in the end the fact that no one knew where I was and there was no cell coverage won out and I shelved the urge to "@Supr4Lo" it... Can't wait for the next meet up!

 

Thanks for the tour in your playground. You’re right, the Penokees are beautiful. Maybe next time next time, I’ll join you guys on the “fun run”, or “interesting run”, “intriguing run” or whatever terrifying name you come up with (Those who know, should fear Pat’s trail difficulty rating system lol)

As for me, I swung by Bayfield and caught the parade. The pickled herring does not have whitefish livers! They still had Poutine, so tragedy was partly avoided. Not sure where I’ll end up for camping yet, but that’s all right.

Also have a large branch that runs from the left front the behind the passenger door between the skid plate and truck. Going to have to drop the skid plate to get it out

 

Yup I do that often. Not always the smartest way to go…

Yesterday, as I was leading nine trucks through a goat track in the Penokee mountains we came upon a full size Chev truck. He pulls into the weeds and I pull into the weeds. Windows come down and wonder of wonders its one of my students and his grandfather out Grouse hunting. How cool is that?

 

That snorkle was a bit undersized anyways.
