Oh boy! Maybe I best leave it alone and use the electric blanket, if anything.

Or, maybe it will end up being a funny story. :notsure:

I have one. It's probably going to expire soon. Might as well use it up.

I have an old Halon one. It probably wouldn't work well for that situation though.

Wife and I are in for sliders.

Looking at the weather, it's 3in of snow today and maybe another inch tomorrow. I would expect snow on the ground and soggy conditions for anyone tent camping like me.
The wife isn't a fan of the roof rack bedroom, so on the ground it is.

I have a fire extinguisher and a decent first aid kit in the truck should the furnace lighting go sideways.
More importantly lemme know before you try so I can set up cameras. That shizz is fire on the 'gram :bananadead:

I'm planning on heading out around 12 on Thursday. The way this week is going, I'm packing the morning of and that'll cause some delays. Plus we have my wife's friend and her bf tagging along in their car. They'll be wanting to get breakfast and all that. How late is after work for you?

Boss mentioned we should hit the road by 2 or 3, so as long as nothing comes up I'd guess we'll get there around 5:30 to 6:30. So if you're making stops, we may arrive around the same time!

I'll have some cold ones waiting for you guys if we get there earlier. Should be easy to keep them cold with the weather on Thursday.

Definitely regret not jumping on a diesel heater setup when I could've. Brakes were a bigger priority.

See the trick with camping in the cold is, just join along on a random February TW trip where temperatures get down to like zero and the roads are paved in ice. After that nothing is cold again! You may permanently lose feeling in your toes, but that’s a sacrifice we are willing to make. Life hacks.

We're going to be leaving right from the office up near Brown Deer. Shoot me a text when you head out and we'll see where everyone is at. If the boss says he wants to leave earlier I ain't gonna say no. :D

Let me know what everyone's ETA is when you head out tomorrow.

I'm meeting @Pixeltim in Madison sometime in the late morning, and then we're heading out. If anyone is on a similar time-line, maybe we can rendezvous.

We were considering dinner at Jones' Black Angus in Prairie Du Chein, but with others showing up in the evening, we might try to go for a late lunch on the way out instead.

I can meet in Verona or Mt Horeb. Verona Kwik Trip would probably work best. Corner of County PB and County M, 1/4 mile from Hwy 151. Let me know what time. I...am....packed.
