It’s been driving me nuts lately with being pulled in too many directions at once, so now a simple thing like rain is causing an issue getting things done. Now it’s got come down to a three hour window with good weather today after work to get the last slider done. Gotta throw the roof rack back on too. Argh!!! It’s like the world is conspiring against me to demand that I be more efficient with my time!!!! Yuck!

I have my site reserved for Sat night and Pat is squatting with me that night. Boy that sounds dirty.
For Sunday night I am either going to extend the reservation or squat with someone else.

Does anyone remember if site 62 is one of the larger ones? I think it is. Wondering if there is room for 4 trucks and Tim’s teardrop or not.

Since we have limited room Saturday night, I decided to grab a site at Council Grounds. I will be there Sunday morning for the trail shenanigans. I might ask to put my kayak on someone's site during the day on Sunday.

Yep. It's only an hour from Tigerton. I've been wanting to get back there sometime, anyway. I'll probably do some shore fishing, or kayak fishing Saturday.

I showed you were Grandfather Falls hydro dam is. Hwy107 N of Council Grounds. That was my sweet spot for bass. In between the 2 dams is a spot where you can park and walk down to the rocks.Screenshot_20240605_134514_Google Earth.jpg
From Council Grounds we always ice fished Badeau's Bay. At the mouth of the copper river. Screenshot_20240605_135105_Google Earth.jpg
I thought there was a boat landing on the bay side somewhere off CTY E.

There's a boat landing at Rock Island Resort upstream from C.G. on 107.
If you launch a kayak from there and head downstream to Badeau's Bay,
    I don't think you'll be paddling back.

    Thank you!

This is good information! I love fishing for Smallmouth in rocky rivers. I've had a little luck downstream of Lake Alexander, at the park. But, I always love trying new spots!

Yeah, I've seen a few sections of the river that I wouldn't even feel safe padding downstream.

Me and a buddy did in a john boat with a 7hp evinrude.
Heading back upstream, at times, the shoreline stopped moving.

That’s the problem when we have limited room.
The party might be at Council Grounds!

Ooo! Are we talking dogs now? First time having a dog here. Got her last year. It’s the only thing that makes me talk all high-pitch (yesh you do, who’s a good girl). It’s really rather embarrassing lol.

She’s got a bit of rat terrier and chihuahua, and a bit of that jail kangaroo vibe at times…but the chihuahua attitude comes out every night at playtime.

I’m not joining FB just to post dog pictures, so that means it’s gonna be in random TW posts lol. Just so everyone knows, I’m not a dog person. I’m also not responsible for the outfits.
