Planning on getting there around 9-10 am on Saturday. I’ll squat saturday if there is room. Or I may look to see if any cancelations open up a site.

I’m thinking between 2-3pm on Saturday for us.

@Thatbassguy are you planning on stopping at Tigerton on Saturday or just go straight to your campsite?

I actually reserved the site at Council Grounds for Friday and Saturday. I'm most likely going to spend Saturday doing some fishing and maybe kayaking, but I wouldn't rule it out that I would maybe pop in depending on how the weather is, etc.

I will arrive Sunday morning, along with Tim. He's going to crash at Council Grounds Saturday night if things work out.

Also, it looks like I might stay Sunday night and maybe play a little Monday morning.

This is another one of those times when I really appreciate my job. I was thinking about it today and I just asked my boss what he thought about me working Tuesday to Friday next week instead of Monday to Thursday and he said go for it. I really am lucky to have wound up at this company!

I'll be up Sunday, hopefully by 9am.

Had a happy surprise today when my daughter said she'd like to come along! I know she wants to get out and camp, but I hope she will spend some time on the trails as well and see why I blabber about how fun it is all the time.

Don't worry, no filters needed around her. I'm sure she'll be quiet at first, but she'll enjoy the banter and BS'ing.

That's awesome she wants to join the festivities.
I'd love to bring my son and he'd probably have a blast.
The dilemma with him is we could drive 2 hrs over just to turn around and come back.
I'll come solo and scope it out this time then maybe next time I'll bring a co-pilot.

Nothing like an eventful morning...the dog has fleas! We have a considerable amount of rabbits around here due to both of my neighbors' gardens. She was outside yesterday, and I saw her rolling on the ground. I've seen rabbits sitting in that area several times in the last week.

So, the carpet has all been vacuumed, we're on the second load of bedding, pillows, dog toys, whatever. My son is on his way to town to pick up flea bath and spray for the carpet and flooring. I'm sure this is what he imagined for his day off!

edit: Once he gets back and the dog is bathed, the dog's bedding gets washed. Hopefully, we caught this early.

I think mine are decent. I've definitely had better. But, I'm always making small adjustments. Someday they'll be perfect. :D

Also, @Stoney Ranger knows that I can really fuck them up once it gets late, especially if I'm running out of ingredients.

    That sucks!

I guess I'm not the only one whose day isn't going like they planned.

I got everything pulled out of the 4Runner this morning to rearrange and make room for the kayak stuff, got it up on jack stands only to realize that I don't have the adapter for my lug nuts. And, nobody carries it except for Discount Tire. So, I guess I'm going on an unexpected field trip.

Spline drive or locks? If it's spline drive you should be able to get the adapter at any auto parts store I think...

Spline. But, these are some goofy 10 spline ones that Discount Tire sold me. All the ones the auto parts store has are six point.

I ended up running to Oconomowoc and checking at two auto parts stores. Then I called discount and they said they have them for five bucks. So I ran over to my dad's house and mowed his lawn and then headed over to discount and bought two of those bad boys so that one can live in the 4runner and the other one can stay in the garage. Hopefully I don't lose both of them.

You still get an allowance for mowing the lawn? Lucky!

I get a sigh and remark about how the grass is getting long....

Joking aside, I got my dad one of those self-propelled lawnmowers from Menards for the gnarly hills in front if his place. Best investment so far.

It's always been tough shopping for him cause usually he already has what he needs. It's been non-stop Carhartt gear cause I can't think of anything else to try.
