Dan! Good to see you back! This put a smile on my face! Yeah, you have some stuff to catch up on.

Thanks to everyone else for the kind words. If you've ever lost a special pet you know how I'm doing.

Cracked a special bottle of bourbon to toast my Regal Beagle and now I'm also toasting to Dan's health. Cheers my friends.

This is awesome Pat. I hadn't committed to anything in August yet, but this truly is important work. And we need to up the Toyota numbers. I will be in contact.

Anybody want to hang out July 1, drink beer, and smoke cigars (if you like)??

Randy, AKA @BookieBob and I will be there. Hope to see some of you fine folks there!!!

I'm going to try to get there around 4. We can meet in the usual parking area for and admire our vehicles for a bit and then head to the Biergarten for Beverages and enjoy some tunes. The Biergarten has Brats and pretzels.

FYI they only take CASH. I can't recall if they have an ATM or not, so best to show up with some.

Here's a link to the parking area:

Pets are family. So sorry to hear. We’ve had a run of that a year ago. My daughter still has a hard time with it since her cat past last year with cancer.

Yeah, I thought I was doing pretty well until a few minutes ago when I dropped a piece of popcorn and he wasn't there to grab it. Have to clean up after myself. My house feels weird without a dog.

Edit: Stewie LOVED popcorn. So this made me sad

I don't know how to give condolences for Stewie and praise for Dan in the same comment but my thoughts are there.

I couldn't come out and give this one a quick response.
I'll need to do some thinking....
I like the idea and I'm all for it, only, if I were to volunteer on some trail system I would prefer to do it more locally on a system I would frequently use.....

I'm not saying this in a smart-ass way but why the trail system up there for a jeep group that I don't know?

I completely understand. However, it isn't just one jeep club and more importantly it is access for everyone. I drive down all the time... to get at offroad time. This has the potential to be better than anything down south that I have experienced (and I by no means have hit then all...) so it is worth an investment (to me.) Not guilting, just offering a possibility to the group. You do you, and I will be doing me, by all means.

Have they made any plans for next year yet? The more advanced notice they give, the better chance there will be that we can attend.

    I think it's a 4wd club, not a jeep club. that means anyone with 4wd except @Pixeltim

No mention of any of this on their website or facebook page, what's up with that?

What is the process to get involved? Just show up with a shovel and chainsaw, or is it more involed than that?

Once finished, what restrictions are there on the trails?
