Personally, I'm glad they split up, because we ended up with two great bands instead of one.

Phil Collins made great music with Genesis and solo. And, Peter Gabriel did some great music as well.

Seriously! A friend gave me a copy of Hit/Miss years ago and I had never realized how much cool stuff he did.

"Digging in the Dirt" is one of my favorites.

I'm jealous! I'd love to see him live. I think he came a few years ago, but it was too expensive at the time.

I think I paid about $15 for front row seats.

I vaguely remember cheap concerts. Nowadays you have to sell a testicle to afford good seats. There's been a number of shows I've missed out on just because I couldn't rationalize spending so much money.

I did the same back in early 2000's.
Tom Petty was headlining RockFest. They wanted $80 for a day pass and I couldn't get myself to pay $80 to see Tom Petty.
Now he's gone and I never did get to see him.....
    Don't procrastinate. lol

I know this feeling. About 10 years ago, my brothers and their wives went to see Fleetwood Mac, and I declined the invitation because it was too expensive, or whatever my reasoning was. Now Christine McVie is dead and I never saw them live. :(

Bummer. That would've been a good one.
I've seen Grateful Dead variations throughout the years. *minus Jerry of course.
When Bob Weir and the Wolf Bros. (Don Was & Jay Lane) came to the cities awhile back...I had to go.

Phil Lesh just passed away recently. within the last year or 2.

So, I can't dance tonight. I have a seriously painful toothache. Went to the dentist this morning and am being referred to an endodontist, likely for a root canal. Just laying here, heavily medicated with a bag of frozen peas on my swelling jaw, waiting to hear back from the endodontist to schedule that fun.

Sorry boys. Have one for me.

    BTDT.

    They recommended to me.
3 ibuprofen and 1 aspirin every 3 hours.
Not medical advice but it worked better than I anticipated.

There's a list of so-so home remedies for tooth pain, like black pepper(ok), clove(better).
    And of course.....green tea.

There's also pouring a little bourbon on it, take a snort and get the bfh.

I've been alternating ibuprofen and Tylenol per recommendations. It's rough on the liver, so I'm staying away from the bourbon. Would have loved a couple steins this evening.

I'm not going to like your post.
Just hearing about someone's tooth problem makes my teeth hurt.
I hope you can get this fixed ASAP.
    Good luck.

Key is the dose  just keep taking it till it stopps hurting, but you can also split doses to fill in time between alternating

    Ibuprofen= nsaid
Acetaminophen (tylenol)= different mechanism of action. Aka why you can alternate.
They are both analgesic meds aka pain.

Aspirin also has some analgesic effects but i forget exactly how that one works..

Then your opioid class is another fun one.
