Oh definitely. If you are sawing all day long, it’s not the saw for you

but if you are just using it sparingly around the house or on trips, it’s hard to beat. Zero maintenance and not having to deal with fuel is pretty great. It’s got power on par with a gas and the battery lasts a LONG time

they finally have a case for it now too. Just got mine a week or so ago

Oh there will be some mods all right
I probably would have bought it if it was available when I first got the saw but I will probably stick with the sportsman's trunk now.

I went DeWalt for all my tools as my Makita's died off because of work-they had purchased all DeWalt prior to my arrival. I often supplement when I have big classes with my own tools (facts about being a teacher 101-you will pay with your own money for materials and use your own tools.) All of them have faults and some are better than others but I cannot say that I "wish" I had one brand over another for most applications. If I did it for a living that might be different; however, when I did, I can honestly say I didn't need SnapOn prices and the Craftsman stuff lasted just as long (hind sight speaking here as I bough SnapOn... (and I can tell you I broke a lot of SnapOn tools too))

I have a big Sthil that I use for firewood. This was a budget purchase with limited use in mind-just for that picture type scenario. Happy so far.

I'm currently sick....... As of now it's not COVID and might be the obnoxious cold going around. But it's worse than when my mom had COVID. Fingers crossed it's COVID because then I get paid for the days they made me miss...

But yes! I do want to get together at some point. It's fall soon so a lot of my patrol activities are uh starting back up... As of now I can't take time off work because if I do classes this fall I will be missing quite a bit of work... So I'm probably out of a fall pipeline trip. However weekday nights typically work for me. Steer away from Thursday/Friday for now. Wednesdays usually after 7:30pm

I am out too long of a drive for someone who is NOT responsible enough for drinking beer in moderation.

That sucks-I got sick because of a wedding in Chicago. Everyone in my immediate family got Covid and tested positive. I got sicker than all of them with same symptoms and NEVER tested positive! Hope this doesn't happen for you.

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.

Hope you feel better soon. Regardless of what it is, being sick sucks.

Well Monday evening if it's not the 2nd Monday of the month. Usually after 6
Tuesday Eve 7 or later. I can ditch the weekly grill out...
    Wednesday Eve after 7

Or Saturday evening I'm off ems at 6... But if we get a call at 5:55 it could be an extra few hours depending on the call. Transport/car accident/ fire etc..

:D or I usually get my M-F schedule Thursday night.......

I can probably meetup on a Saturday afternoon for a beer/brewery. My wife made a ton of plans in sept/Oct. I also have a wedding to attend sometime in September and 1 in November.
