    @McSpazatron

    I had a talk with my trimmer and blower. Told them that if they don't get along I'm going to throw them out, but I'd keep the batteries. I reminded them that the gas trimmer could kick both their asses.

    Lol, tough love is sometimes what’s needed. Although, the battery comment may have been a bit harsh. They might not recover from knowing you’d do such a thing.:laugh:

    Cleaning has begun. Pre-soaking now. At this rate I should have it all detailed just in time for tigerton :D

    I put mine on ramps and hosed it off quick. Now I have the sprinkler going.

    Just went to the pay-n-spray don't know how much it cost, but had to swip the card 3 times. And the underneath is still a disaster. What the hell did we drive through? It's like sticky sand muck.

    Twice through the Kwik Trip car wash got the first layers off and did a surprisingly respectable job on the undercarriage. I did the sprinkler mod (which perplexed my neighbors to no end) but the water came out clean. It was only when I put the hand sprayer back on and attacked the wheel wells that mud started flowing.

    Just tell the neighbors you're trying to grow a full size.

    Well, you did your level best to compress the mud on with high pressure on the rocks!

    That sounds about right. In fact, I’s say the first trip up north is still on my 4runner. It never really comes off with just pressure, it seems some level of scrubbing is necessary.

    I put woolwax on everything, so I dont scrub…eventually it will get a new layer of woolwax over it so it gets thicker and more “protecty”. Too bad it looks like chewed bubble gum dropped in mud though.

    I just like getting mud and sand out of the moving bits and from the inside of the frame and crossmembers.

    I would but my next door neighbor has a full sized Ram and I've seen him eyeing mine repeatedly with lust and longing in his eyes!

    Speaking of neighbors, he saw my with my shiny new machete and commented that I had a big knife. I took it over to show him, thinking he might look sideways at his scary neighbor, but he took a closer look, said, "Cool Machete, I have one just like it!"

    It is. I definitely shouldn’t have gone through those mud puddles with such gusto. I should have listened to @WiscoPat

    4 hours later and the underside is decent. after pre soaking I foamed as much as I could and got in there with a stiff brush.

    Pro tip be sure to hose out any cross members, the rear bump stops, and spray up under the rear fender liners. I hit a metric ton of sand out of the inside of the rear fenders and bumper.

    These are with it still wet. Doesn’t look nearly as nice now it’s drying.

    That's pretty much what I did. I will say a foam cannon for the pressure washer it worth it as well.
