    I have something similar
    https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-Pressure-Washer-Water-Broom-RY31211/300701617

It has 2 positions. Up for washing the undercarriage and down to use as a "broom" to wash the gunk off the driveway.

It works ok for the underside but I still recommend using a sprinkler to get the mud soft beforehand.

I will add that I did take @McSpazatron 's advice when it came to hosing down the engine bay. I just used light garden hose pressure and concentrated more on the front of the engine and away from as much of the wiring as I could. I did get a ton of muck out of the radiator.

Hover truck?! Sweet mod, but would kind of take the fun out of off-roading, eh? :D

I used the garden the hose on "shower" setting on the nozzle for the engine bay and will probably still have a lot of wipe down to do there. Same hose on "jet" setting got a lot off of the body, wheels and undercarriage. Then I took it to Kwik Trip for 2 rounds of Elite wash and towel wiped the exterior. I'll have to get underneath tomorrow and see how much crud is left.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I ran mine through Fleet Farm's wash and drove reeeaaaalllllyyyyyyyy sssssssllllllllloooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww over the undercarriage flush. Haven't looked closely but it seemed to get quite a bit off. Going to pull the pressure washer out either tomorrow or Wed. I really like that extension that @Larry Dangerfield posted! In the shopping cart!

That trail riding was so relaxing. And messing with the OffRoad's gadgetry while in 4lo was a learning experience. Need to figure more of that out. Glad there will be a next time.

Pro tip for Kwik Trip car washes: get a car wash card and you save quite a bit vs. paying per wash. Basically 3 free Elite washes in this case.

I've tryed two different Kwik Trip washes and neither one would wash the back of the cap or tailgate.

Did you pick touchless or soft touch? I've been doing soft touch and the brushes do a pretty good job of running down and back up the tailgate. Do all of their car washes have the choice? Not sure...

I used to be one of those guys who would never do anything but a touchless wash unless I was hand-washing my cars myself, but I got over that. Touchless car washes are generally pretty terrible in my experience.

I wouldn’t trust that guy. :p This time around I took @Pixeltim ’s advice and gently vacuumed the loose dust off of everything with the appropriate brushed attachments. That basically made it ready for detailing with a wet rag, whenever I have more time. Seemed to work pretty good.

So today I sprinkler pre-soak, blasted the undercarriage, framerails, and crossmembers to get the bulk of the sand/mud off, bucket soaked/washed my winch line, and ran it once through an Elite wash at kwik trip (touchless though- because I demand swirl free paint between my pinstripes).

Basically, now I’m ready to hand wash it tomorrow, because it still looks like crap lol. I havent even discovered my new pinstripes yet!

I picked the soft touch and both times the brushes stopped at the rear corners, never touching the rear of the truck.

Appreciate your efforts! Are these the “scratchy” trails you were referring to that lead to old mines? If they are, I’d be interested, because they don’t look any worse than what we did over the weekend. Hoping things shake out and I can make it to the bayfield trip!

No... those are a go. They are in the Penokee Mnts to the Southeast of Ashland. This is new stuff I am looking for closer to Bayfield. Fun trail, just can't because of the snomo trail. Wish we could share public lands... what a concept.

    I saw that. :)

I'm adding a few that I took. It's uploading on mobile data so it's going pretty slow.

It looks like they went in. You'll notice that I found appropriate parking down at the restroom.

    Cleaning round 3.
Pulled the rear drums off and clean them up. Now it's the fronts turn.
Good time to grease the JBA's

See, I think this is why off-roading leads to a well maintained and mechanically sorted vehicle. We get to touch and see everything on it and catch any problems as they happen.

It makes for a great hobby, assuming one has time :)

Still not done haha, but it’s part of the fun.

edit, sometimes I think it would be cooler to have a car rotisserie than a lift lol
