Soo.. We have 2 votes for September 13-15, and one vote for the 20th-22nd.

The earlier weekend would be a year from the first time I drove up to the pipeline.

If anyone else wants to put in a vote, please do. I'm thinking we should set the dates within a week or so, and start making plans accordingly.

I was the odd man out for voting, so changed mine to the earlier dates - because I'm a nice guy.

I'm pretty much ready to start planning around the 13th-15th.

I'm looking forward to hitting the pipeline with company. I'm hoping for a good crowd, but even just a few people will be fun.

Yeah, it came up while we were camping on the recent T.W.A.T trip. No real story. Just a joke someone made about my username.

I don't recall, either. It was Alex who posted the Seinfeld reference.

I'm interested and should have my lift by then, but have pencilled-in events both weekends. Hopefully I can determine if both are inked, or if I have flexibility, because I'd really like to take my TRD Off-Road off-road.

I can guarantee you that the pipeline is much more challenging than the T.W.A.T. there is mud, rocks, deep sand, Etc.

Here's a picture of what turned me around last Friday, a picture of the what a lot of the terrain looks like, and me inspecting a giant puddle that I ended up driving through.

It's just a matter of taking the right path. I've got a snatch strap if all else fails.

I'm all stock and had no problem. What kind of tires do you have?

You should be fine. It's about 12" deep if you stay out of the ruts. Bottom is soft clay, but it gets firm a few inches down.
