Fared better than I did. She liked a Highlander she test drove and then they got her good at the Ford dealer.

Went to see a Nissan Rogue I found and it was sold before we got there. They were nice enough to call way before our appointment and offer other cars there. She didn't even have to sleep on it. We're now the half-proud/half-reluctant owners of a '13 Ford Edge. Guess which one I am.

Either way, if I keep my mouth shut, I get to say I didn't complain how she spent her money. Thus she can't complain about my truck upgrades :fingerscrossed:

I just drove my neighbors older vintage Ford Ranger. They do not age well.

In 2007 the ford edge was a 2wd Ford ranger with the 4wd suspension

They do not, I have no idea why the internet is so in love with the last gen Ranger. They were huge POS's. Especially compared to a pickup or Tacoma.

Out of curiosity (and boredom) I just looked up the current value of my truck. I bought it 3 years ago and put on 45k miles and it's worth the same price I paid. Crazy!
When I bought it, my neighbor with the Ranger told me he wanted a Tacoma but couldn't afford it. I told him it was the only truck I could afford, due to the long term resale value.

I just wasn't a big fan of chopping my Flares / Fender and the real aggressive Cab chop /relocate. So with my lift I just stepped back the front of the Cab mount 3/4 of its length , rounded off the corners zip cut in three spots the inner pinch welds and folded to the inside of fender just so your not looking at them , then zip cut just so fender folded to the inside which brought it up or back so it was even more or less with cab mount. I snipped off a small 4" of plastic off my inner liner but I plan to fasten them. I could of gotten away without doing that, my mistake

Finally first test passes with the new welder! This was using the recommended settings. Yes I know, I didn't tie the corners in....
