Hard disagree, and frankly that's a very toxic stance to take.

If I hadn't sold cars for 3 months, I probably still wouldn't know how to tie one.

Edit: I probably wouldn't have my driver's license number memorized, either. :D

To be fair, I don't think it's illegal to use an appropriate amount of force to discipline a kid. Or, maybe it is now? I don't know for sure.

It's definitely not as socially accepted by society as it used to be. But, I really think it's a parent's choice how they want to discipline their kids, barring actual abuse.

I've definitely seen some situations where kids aren't disciplined and they grow up to be idiots. But, I've known people who were disciplined and grew up to be idiots, also.

My boy was never hit, and he's a good kid. A bit of a late bloomer, but a good kid nonetheless.

I have only one tie. It stays tied all the time. Then again about the only time I wear it is for funerals

Pretty much the same here. Weddings and funerals. That's also the only time I actually shave.

I hope they have the trails open by next weekend, wife and I are camping there.

I wonder how high the river is.

The river level is moderately high right now, but will be coming down fast. I’m guessing the rain affected the trails more than the campground. That’s a lot of rain in a short time.

I'm sure the trials will be nice and muddy. I dislike mud :angrygirl:

But mud makes your truck look like it’s actually done something fun. Visual evidence is a good thing!

Photo dump from a fun weekend up at my buddy's place. We were clearing some trails of fallen trees, hiking, taking in the spring growth, camping and drinking beers.

Bloodroot. The red liquid from the stems was used by Native Americans as a dye and insect repellent, as well as for war paint.

Am I the only one who saw "butt mud"...? Not a fan of either kind on my truck.

A driver at my job decided to see how soft the grass was after 3 days of rain.

Quick update on the truck's noises since my suspension installation... I had been experiencing some resonance noise right between 45 and 50mph. Nothing alarming, but folks here said try axle shims under the leaf springs in back. @sparkystaco was kind enough to send me some shims via the TW Express, but they were 6" long and the seemed too long for the leaf mount on the axle, so I picked up a set of 3* shims from Tom Woods that were 4" long and also included a longer center bolt for the leaf pack. I'm not sure if that mount is different in 2nd gens... anyway, I'll get those back to you at some point Sparky.

When I looked at my U-bolts from the Ironman4x4 setup, I realized that there were only a few threads extending beyond the nut, so I decided I should probably get some longer U-bolts. Those arrived on Saturday. I got them installed after I got back from my weekend shenanigans yesterday. Verdict: the noise is not gone, but it is reduced. So, I'm not thrilled that throwing $100 and a couple hours at the problem didn't eliminate it, but I can live with the reduced effect I suppose. I'll have to crawl back under there with the angle grinder soon and trim off about an inch from the U-bolts too as they hang a bit low.
