@BookieBob , you should plan on stopping at Potosi brewery at some point. Good food and beer, to get you in the mood for the trails.

I'm hoping to meet up that weekend, but have to keep the miss's happy as well.

I’ll have the dog on Friday. No brewery stop on Friday. I’m bringing the mini Webber and a cooler with some marinated kabobs. Maybe camping overnight and getting back home Saturday. Thinking about (5/26)Sunday AM hitting the Pine Cone restaurant in Madison and head to New Glarus Brewery to get a fresh pint of spotted cow. I’ll need to leave around 1pm to head back

Hit some trails in the Wood Co Forest after going to the gun range in search of a private gun range I had heard rumours of in the area. I found the private range and found many puddles along the way. Both missions were a success. My gun project I'm working on was less of a success, head spacing appears to be off.20190505_190047.jpg
To find your self just Google "Wood County Shooting Range" and you will find a dirt road leading you in. Appears to be a decent amount of varied types of trails. I didn't see any signs restricting trucks in there.

Anyone know of any trails in south eastern Wisconsin? I’ve heard there’s some in the northern kettle moraine area but I’m not sure where

I took my in-laws to the open shooting range a number of years ago in the northern Chequamegon Nation Forest, west of Washburn/Bayfield. One of the nicest ranges I’ve ever been too.

I'm pretty sure those are roads. The one you linked to is called Division Rd (n2801 Division Rd, Cascade, WI 53011). I drive it quite frequently when I get up there, it's the closest thing to an 'up north road' we have in SE WI. Jeep guys just like to call dirt roads 'trails' to justify their built Jeeps.

I skimmed some of the web site. It talked about private trail map and membership dues. I assume the dues are for the web site usage and their high quality printed maps. Several off-roading clubs were listed. I’ll just call the office in kettle moraine.
I’ve heard for years Bong Recreation area in Kenosha had off road trails. This is 100% false. Atv and motorcycle only. Dune buggy, go karts, and trucks are not allowed on the trail. A hefty fine if caught!

It been quite of few years since I been on that road. It's a road, not a "trail"

I'm not a do-it-yourself guy, and after going over some of the posts and looking at youtubes for the parts I'm interested in installing, it's clear I'm out of my league. Is there a person or place you guys trust in Wisconsin, especially near the Greater Milwaukee area for installs? My first mods are gonna be wheels, steps, and either a grill or a bumper. My grill has the TSS sensor, and that has me a bit worried. I'm also considering either a suspension lift or a leveling kit, depending on how liquid my funds are. Any advice for a local installer that you trust would be helpful.

My Brother in-law lives in Merrimac and has a private shop and he can install your lift for about 1/2 of what a stealership would charge you. It’s about 1.5 hours from Milwaukee and you can ride the free Ferry.
Ness’s in Lodi just across the river does great alignments after the lift. That’s where I took mine after we put in my lift.

I have a bit of an... irrational phobia about open water. I only rode it once before out of fear of being left behind, and I was near panic the whole time.

    Im in north Racine/Eastern Caledonia...
My neighbor installed my bed lights and my grill. He’s a shade tree mechanic. He charges but he gets it right. The problem is he’s always busy. Usually 2-3 cars every weekend . His full time job he runs/repairs a rental equipment company (bobcats, mixers, dump trucks, chainsaws. If it has a engine he can fix it.

I know it would be parts plus labor.

Thought maybe some of the people on here did their own mods. I also sadly don’t want it screwed up so I go ask my neighbor! Lol

Pm me and I’ll send you his phone number or I can talk to him when I get home.

Looks great, and nice BBP color! I'll for sure keep you in mind, but I'm leaning towards a trusted dealership or business where I have some recourse if things go south. I've read that the TSS sensor is expensive if it breaks, so I don't want to put that kind of liability on someone I don't know.

I have been thinking about ceramic coating my 4runner. Has anyone here had a vehicle ceramic coated and happy with the results? Looking for recommendations so I can get a price quote and decide whether to do my own or pay a professional.
