We usually drove through Florence to get to the Spread Eagle chain, which I still can't say without giggling. That's a beautiful area!

You have a transfer case that works perfectly fine .... Never understood that mentality of drive it in 2wd until I get stuck and then hold up the whole production.

Oh they can calibrate it just fine. They're just lazy/incompetent.

Unless its like 8 inches or a Carolina mega squat, it can easily be calibrated.

You're brave.

If it only needs 2 inches, the factory calibration should still be within acceptable parameters.

Honestly, I'm really sick of insurance and their affili is yanking people around. If I run your shoes and they refuse to do it, I would do one of two things.

1: go to a dealership and have it recalibrated. Tell the dealership you have to have it recalibrated because insurance refuses to do so. The dealership should work with you on billing the insurance for the job.

OR

2: file a claim with your state's department of insurance against your insurance company and tell them that they are refusing to finish fixing your windshield even though you have coverage in your policy. The state will get on them and they will get moving ASAP to get it working again.
