Yup. Didn't read the last 6 issues of 4Wheeler, and now that's gone too.

While they're celebrating some poor family just had their house destroyed.
I'd rather be winched up Hell's Gate again, then try to be in a tornado.

Don't worry, you don't see any house get destroyed. At least I didn't, but I skipped ahead to the "action".

Actually was kind of a letdown, less than ef1 winds and they acted like it was a major storm.

I've never been through anything truly severe. But, in '08 when my apartment building pretty much became an island briefly, that seemed pretty major at the time.

Everyone seems to have a different experience in some situations. Shit, I sank a boat in 2' of water! It was stressful and scary at the time, but, I look back now and wonder wtf I was worried about.

Experience can really change perception. ;)

Headin' to Denver in the a.m. Then onto Salt Lake City. Daughter is getting married. Gonna be a desert camping trip 100 miles away for 100-ish people, with a wedding tossed in f or a good reason fo get f'k up. Daughters wedding dress was made by my mother-in-law for Kimm'r, when we got married. Taking 10 cases of spotted cow, per the brides request. And a bottle of Me-Lort. (sp) WTF.

Kimm'r has plans in Colorado on the way home. Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, and Garden of the Gods. She did grab the Colorado Funtreks guide, too.

Last time my wife and I went to CO we drove rampart range road. It’s a pretty easy road that has some good campsites and scenery. Below is the picture of our first campsite followed by the visitors we had at our 2nd campsite along with random shots along the way.

Oh there will be some mods all right
That road is awesome. We went to pikes peak first and then from that road we could see the windshields glinting in the sun of people on pikes peak.

Is the road one way or multi directional?
Wife and I are planning on going out to Colorado next year and are looking for some good adventure roads.

Lol, I'll add it to my list.
I was planning on doing Old Stage Rd, so it would be nice to hit up Rampart on the way back to Colorado Springs
