Well, fixed one thing and another problem pops up. Ran over some antenna looking thing on the highway leaving work and it snagged my driver rear abs sensor. Didn't see it in time to avoid it, as the car in front of me went over it first. Hopefully the wiring is intact and the new sensor on the way from RockAuto is all I need. Part gets here by the end of Friday. Any suggestions as to where I should zip tie it in the meantime? .......Yikes, I need to really clean under there.PXL_20230607_213903834.jpg

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Can't like that, nope. You could tie it to the hard brake line, don't think it would reach the parking brake cable.

I wouldn't zip tied anywhere. It doesn't have a lot of excess cable and if it has a little bit of free space to flex, it'll keep it from pulling out of anything again. Ziptide to something and then flex your axle and pop there goes again

Maine mosquitos are plentiful but are wimpy. I let 'em bite me and I reply "That all you got punk" and then I laugh. They don't bite like the 'lil f'n vampires we have around here.

The results are in! They did an outstanding job. They even peeled off my Wisconsin and Michigan State Park stickers and reapplied them to the new windshield. I don't see any paint chips or gouges anywhere and they left no mess of any kind. No warning lights and the radar Cruise works as it should as well. 10 out of 10 do recommend Rhinelander Safelite.

Apologies in advance if posting for sale items in this thread are not allowed. Just wanted to open the option to local forum friends before tossing it on Marketplace.

I am ready to part ways with my softopper if anyone is looking to pick one up, I would be willing to sell it off for $650. (MSRP is $900). Located in Kenosha for pickup or I could meet in the middle somewhere.

Looking to move over to a different bed configuration as I was using this as a means to quickly truck camp and sleep in my bed, but the sleeping platform and such that I created just wasn't comfortable enough for me to handle over a weekend. It is a great use for bed storage though and the convenience of being able to pop it up and down vs using a hard top has been nice.

Topper has been mounted on the bed for a little over a year. Here is a quick photo of it installed on my truck from last fall. I currently have the topper folded up but if you want any recent photos I can send more over in a DM.

    Thanks!

Sensor's all fixed. Spent two hours finagling the broken plastic sleeve part from the plug. I gave up being delicate with it and loosened some tabs. New sensor plugged in perfectly and no dash lights! Should take quite a bit to unplug but I reinforced it with a tie going around where the tabs got loosened. Now to fix this problem......PXL_20230608_195624240.jpg

Elderly gentleman floored it from the Holt Plaza Pic N Save, jumped the median/sidewalk to the main entrance of Home Depot, and pushed the wife's Kia a good 8 feet from where it was parked. And on her birthday yesterday no less. Luckily she hadn't left the building and wasn't in it at the time. My daughter was with me and the guy left in an ambulance with a concussion. Poor Kia served us well for 7 years. It was the first car we ever got together and shared for a good while before my daughter was born and I got the Tacoma. Kia's parked out front until Co-Part can tow it to their salvage yard on Monday. Ended up waiting 4 hours for a tow only two miles to the house :facepalm:Still dealing with insurance company to get her a rental in the meantime. And figures it was a Rav4 lol Everyone's fine and surprise birthday tailgate is still in motion. Could be a lot worse.

Hope the gentleman is okay as well and I hope they revoke his license. Unfortunately some people just aren't fit to drive.
