Omfg. Stupid round abouts. Are dumb, people can't use them.. people treat stopsigns like roundabouts.

So somewhere I was told roundabouts actually increase collisions but decrease the severity. Don't remember who said that but it was because we were talking about how many collisions we have seen in roundabouts. They in theory eliminate almost all t-bone crashes in them. Uh I don't think so, a direct t-bone maybe but my friends been tboned in one. My sister also knocked someone's bumper off because she yielded but then went into the open lane which scared another car into the center and took their bumper. Zero contact and she didn't take their lane she entered legally...

I had a bad experience here. The hype was so high then I got their specialty cheese curds which were highly recommend by everyone I knew. It was a blob of multiple stuck together, soggy and not fully fried dripping in oil. Yeah they tasted ok, but even my friends who have been there several times were just like sorry they sucked today..

When I lived in Dane county I used to find stuff like that while out and about. Fossils also. I have a box around here somewhere that has it all in. Actually forgot all about it.

On a side note anyone else get their letter from Toyota about frame rust/perforation? Got mine Saturday.

oooooooo will @Thatbassguy be joining the metal booty gang? You are a self-proclaimed assman, after all...

(the bumper would be totally unnecessary, IMO, but would earn both cool and style points, which is important)

Thanks for the heads up! Luckily, a rear bumper is at the bottom of a very long list! Skids first, then more fun stuff!

To be fair, skids are fun stuff, too, as they'll allow me to go places I would otherwise risk severe damage.

I just got mine as well. There's definitely surface rust down there but I did hit it with fluid film after I found all that. Some shiny new parts wouldn't hurt my feelings but I can't imagine I'll get anything more than a coating at this point

Those getting frame letters, if the frame is in good shape keep up on prevention,
if the frame is going bad, more than a little surface rust, starting to delaminate, it's up to you (see above) if you think it will fail by the time the recall expires stop taking care of the frame and wait until just before the end date to get an inspection.

I could be wrong but that's what I did and got a new frame.
I cannot be held responsible for anyone following my advice, use your own judgement.

Thank you this has been a public service announcement.

My friends response "bring it to my shop I'll punch a hole in it, then you get a new frame which is better than the coating" he is a mechanic and he was just joking about putting a hole it in. But I was kinda like uh let's not when I thought he was serious

Where else is he supposed to mount his high lift? You gotta have a rear bumper!
