Just picked up some bakery items at The Pinecone in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin for a customer.
This place is fantastic. Cinnamon rolls bigger than center caps and chocolate eclairs the size of a baby.
$8 and can feed 10 people.

I’m hoping to do a New Glarus run and hit this place for breakfast or dinner

    all around Nice!

you must tell me the 'secrets' to keeping that 2nd gen dash clean as well as the carpets and everything else, i tried detail work on one with gray carpet and its major Pita compared to my truck which has a flat surface dash and not micro pits galore (my best description of it)

i wonder if the dealer would put my truck in the used showroom after giving me the cash check they offered to me last week lol

    your '15 was a PreRunner?

    Yes. 2015 Prerunner sr5 v6 2WD.
    Completely stock.

Weather tech floor liners. On my ‘15 it has a deep floor pan.(‘17 doesn’t) The weather tech floor liners ran all the way up all sides. It contained snow/salt /grass/misc. I cut out static film and covered all the gauges and radio screen. I also had a knockoff yeti that’s spill proof. Luckily on vacations we would stop to eat at restaurants and not in the car.my wife knows I’m anal about my truck. She made sure my daughters area was covered with blankets and had a trash bin next to her for trips.

I probably could have got a full price return on what i paid for it but I didn’t want to deal with a private sale.
Sticker on my 15 was a little over$28,000 and bought it under $24k

My local Toyota shop actually called me yesterday and said a new recall is coming so they are getting in front of it. Dropped it off today for a “preinspection” and they said it will def need the undercarriage treatment. They will start doing them early December.

Any fun but easy trails in the central/western Wisconsin area to take my stock truck?

Your best bet is probably to get a GPS app and download forest service maps or MVUM maps. They'll show you all of the forest roads and old logging roads in the area.

The Medford district is probably pretty close to you. The forest roads aren't really challenging, but the scenery is good.

Cool I’ll look into it. Traded in my truck not too long ago. It Had a little lift and skids, but now I’m stock again and haven’t decided what direction I’ll go with this truck. Still like to get out and explore what I can while I’m figuring it out.

A few of us are going to meet at Potosi brewery and run a section of the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail on November 9th, if you're interested.

There's very little I've found in Wisconsin that would require anything beyond a stock 4×4. Enjoy the exploration!

We don't have 'trails' really, just forest roads. The roads in the Jackson County Forest are pretty fun to drive. East of Black River Falls and south of Hwy 54. Lots of sand. There's many ATV trails out there that look better than than road so make sure you stay on roads. Just get out your Gazateer and start following the small lines. This is a good place to start.....44.284373,-90.440016. Lots to explore in that area but nothing to sketchy. I think one of the guys in this group found some of the good stuff up there when they did part of the TWAT and decided to take backroads home.

Also, if you're willing to travel, there's the pipeline (Forest Road 55552) in the Lakewood/Laona district. There's everything from sand to mud to rocky areas. 99% of it can be done in a stock Tacoma. The biggest challenges are deep water and mud, and one rocky hill that I wouldn't recommend without good skids at a minimum.

Well my blower motor on my 2016 stopped working yesterday. Getting it replaced at Racine Toyota today under the recall. Right at 60,000 miles.

I had to replace one on my 2005. It’s a 30 second job, couple screws and the wiring plug
