That's pretty much what I'm hoping to do. I just need to figure out where to spend Saturday night. It looks like Wyalusing is open year-round, so I might just spend the night there like you mentioned. It will be nice to try out my truck camping platform in the cold!

I look forward to meeting you that weekend, if you can make it!

Got my Truck back today. Turns out there is a TSB on the secondary air pump for my truck and it was fully covered by Toyota.

Here is the SR that I had to drive for a couple days. Madison East Toyota was awesome. I told the service advisor we were on our way to our sons to bow hunt this weekend and he said well a car will never do as a hunting rig and got us the Tacoma. Said just give it a wash if we get if full of mud. LOL

I did a thing this weekend. It's been awhile since I did a thing. Put a Cali-raised light bar on my roof rack. Cali-raised LED bars are on sale along with mounting brackets for the Prinsu for 10% off and a 5% discount for my first order. Now gotta start saving for whatever Black Friday deals that come along.20191014_182046-01.jpg 20191014_182153-01.jpg

Hey James if you're interested in that $50 to access maps I'd consider splitting it if people want to. I am curious as to why there's comments about private land. There's a non off road, paved road down here that's private and dead ends. It actually connects to public hunting land but you're not allowed to park on the sides only in the mini lot.

It's Low road near Middleton/cross plains WI. Reason it's private is basically because it's a driveway. While it isn't a driveway it dead ends at a gate which is the property owners, or it left turns into gravel through another gate which is the gravel road to his house. Again there is a small lot off the road but if anyone drives down it he always asks that I mention it and he prefers when I know the style of vehicle. (We know the property owner and I get to hunt on his portion). I'm wondering if it's something similar, those private roads that as long as you don't park you are ok?

I appreciate the offer! I might just pay it and see what those guys are all about. The guy mentioned something about building trails, which I would happily contribute to.

On the other hand; I really enjoy the little bit of offroad trails we have here. I'm more interested in saving the trails we have than building private trails for a handful of people to use.

I'll let you know if I end up joining, and what I learn.

Thanks! It's a Treehouse made by Snap Outfitters. They're in PA and have way quicker turnaround time than the better known players. I've really been enjoying it and it's about the only way the gf will camp with me. If you want to get your hands on it one of these days I'm happy to show it off!

I saw these at expo when they first came out, but this is the first one I’ve seen in the wild. Kinda felt like a “hey me too” but now that things have aged a bit, I think I like it’s definitely above the GFC at this point. I had a deposit on a GFC (one of the first 15 orders) but backed out when it came around to production time

I’ve got a habitat now, I love the space

Habitat would be nice for the space! I'm pretty darn happy with the Treehouse. My big concern is weather and this lets me pop the top and crawl in no matter the weather. I'm tossing around the idea of retrofitting in ambulance doors now that they offer them. Pretty excited to see what Hiatus Campers brings to market when they get to it

yup that was my big thing too. I did the roof top tent thing and it took longer to set up than a ground tent and the cover was a huge pain in the ass

habitat sets up in a minute and doesn’t get full of mosquitos in the process

what’s the hiatus camper? Never heard of that one

That is interesting. I’ll have to keep tabs on that and convince @Cav_BluTRD he needs one

Yup. I'm going to stay somewhere out that way Saturday night. We should think about a place and time to meet. Any ideas?

Depends how soon you want to wakeup and where to start the trail. Govener Dodge state park is between Wyalusing and Madison. Sauk city ammo plant is a bit NW of Madison about 45 minutes.

I don't think I'd make it to dodge Saturday night. But Sunday morning we could meet in Sauk. At whatever time you're willing to wake up and drive there/ what is convenient for others?
