Yeah, on the trails, my co-driver is a bag of jerky and some chips. I should have specified off trail passengers.

I got this one. It's a little basic compared to the higher end options, but I figured it would be fine for my needs. So far, so good.

    This is me, also.
Went from an S7 edge to the current S20+5G. Cracked my screen working on the truck so will need to find a place to replace it.
I'm afraid to take the screen protector off as I believe it's acting as a bandaid preventing it from cracking more.
    Pissed me off.

I'm bigger on security than I am devices. Always used Webroot.
Never been compromised, hacked or had identity stolen. (Some of which is due to my cautiousness and tinfoil hat :)). Using a web3 browser I don't get b.s. ads, plus better security.

Seeing the talk about mounts made me wonder, what does law enforcement use to mount their moniters or whatever it is they use.

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Rola rack. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
I was telling a coworker about this the other day and they had made the comment about free labor. I countered that it was an excellent real world project and a much more valuable learning experience than welding more coupons.

Our final year of printing class in high school involved doing all the printing for the school system. That was free labor too, but it gave us real world, practical experience and prepared us for decent paying jobs straight out of high school.

I’ve used gazelle before. Most of the time I just go through Apple directly

Same here, I use Gazelle when I happen to have an extra item that’s not being used for an apple trade in. That’s becoming pretty rare though.

Any of us that were around pre digital era must understand that any and all devices today are better than nothing.

You could be carrying an oversized roadmap book or even worse.
    A Mapquest printout.

Edit: Made me wonder what future generations will look back and laugh at?
    "Haha, remember touch screens?"

Because electronics have let me down in times of need I trust paper. My wife just laughs and understands that we will be winging it when I say I used Gaia…

I’ve used some devices I’d argue nothing is better lol

I bought a gps pretty early on, think I only used map quest a couple times.

There’s still some places I’d much rather have physical buttons. Especially over a cheap touch screen with bad software.
