Worked on wiring today. Bit drizzly, but mid 40's! Able to fix my front light bar-Thank you @Taco-Grinder for the relay!!! Cleaned up a wiring mess I had made over the years in back. Found the constant hot I ran and the switched hot for the rock lights-cut out all the extraneous clutter-rewired to length the rock lights and bed lighting. Need to order some brighter rock lights and some switched LED pods for the compartments (now that I found the hot wire back there...) Also loaded up some bikes on the new bike rack bar. Works great. loaded (for the moment) all my recovery gear in the front hatch. Got the chain saw back in. Starting to feel "done" with the conversion to flatbed. Gratuitous bedless shot:

Still chuckling about what I think the quote of the year for me is: Something to the effect that I shouldn't be considered for weight consciousness as I "see 1/4" plate steel as sheet metal." That makes my heart swell with pride.

    A Skyline killer....

    Definitely worth it.

I think everyone's first couple of trailer loads are going to be way over marked. As annoying is that is some rich clown will be in there to buy all of them. its why they do it. Trying to convince my service manager to let me have the first crack at PDI'ing the new trucks.

You get used to it pretty quickly

Sold my old TRD wheels and tires to a very nice gentleman who drove down from Marquette MI for them today. He had a new 2023 SR5 and we had a good talk about the stuff I've done with my truck. I told him to stay away from yous guys. o_O

So I think I'll be stashing this cheddar away to put toward a bumper someday.

Two years ago, I put about 40 miles on at Christmas time, and another 75 or so over New Years. I wasn't wearing a Santa costume though.

Well, I don't live waaaayyyyyyy up north either.

Yes!!! Thank you for digging that up. I should show the wifey...

Thanks for a laugh Dave. That was a great time, and I love that you captured the video. I was thinking that maybe I could climb the loaf now with my 33s,but looking at that again, I'd definitely need a different approach angle or... a higher clearance bumper.

    Bumper

I'm not trying to encourage you to spend money.
But, just remember that a Bumper will have an empty space behind it.
A winch will fill that space very nicely

Again, I'm not trying to encourage you to spend money.
