Update on the leaky air hose. A little red duct tape and all is good. Doesn't leak at all. I am kinda surprised.17045627105357508543270380406827.jpg

What's the plan for sleeping when camping? Do you have a tray extension in mind?

My neighbor makes boat covers and such from canvas. He has offered to make a canvas cover that will zip open on the sides and back with screen! Windows too. Sleep right where the dog is sitting. The wood deck is a full 6 foot-so as long as the short bed with tailgate down. Tad more exposed than the bed was, but as you know the elements don't matter much to me... hopefully done by the Arkansas trip in March.

    Custom cover?
    That would be awesome!
So the 'bike racks' really are 'bed rails' so you don't roll out. :)

The current rack is the back bar (see image.) Not sure what carrying bikes and camping are going to look like. Considering a different mounting with the bikes in a tray off that bar and hanging to the back. Not sure. that bed is the size of a king size bed. Even with the wife we won't be rolling off and the forward bar will be in place as well.

I may have to get a back up camera and mount it up front. Factory back up camera on 2013 is in the rear view mirror.

Unfortunately no, I do not have a front camera (yet). Always been on the list but haven't pulled the trigger because something else always became more important. Some day.

I'll give the assist since I'm already typing up things. Those are Level 8 MK6 17x9 in gunmetal. They look damn good on his truck too, especially with those big ol' 35" schmeats.

I do recall you posting for ideas but don't remember what they were lol. During this dead time of the year it's never a bad idea to go through things like your tool kit, first aid kit, recovery gear, and spare parts for longer expeditions to make sure it's optimized. Rock lights, scene lights, any lights. Maybe upgrading to a hard-wired GMRS setup instead of just a handheld? Good time to buy your Wisconsin annual park stickers (think you already have one, this is more for everyone else). I'm sure we can come up with new ideas if you ask!
