I choose 'common rounds' as my caliber because if shite ever did hit the fan I prefer a firearm that uses ammo everyone has.

.357 on a Scandium frame is gonna f'n hurt when you hit the bang switch. I have .357 Centennial on a steel frame and that baby is snappy.
Einstein's theory of relativity, E=Mc squared, applies here. If the gun doesn't have the mass to absorb the energy, your wrist will. And you will feel it.

If you do get this, I would like to shoot it, though.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
My first thought was: damn, that thing is gonna have quite a bark, along with quite a bit of kick! Beautiful weapon, though.

    I like my .40 but I also have a 9mm and .357 magnum.
    And .22 and .22 magnum.
I think that’s it for pistol calibers.
I just got a browning automatic 12 from my dad’s estate to add to that part of the collection.

My .357 is a S&W 27-2, 8”. It’s actually one of my favorite shooters, it has enough mass to make it smooth.

Been waiting all day for those icon front bumps from Fedex, who frickin' delayed the shipment.
Took off the driver side bump already.
Barely got my biggest pipe wrench around it....3 1/8" dia.

    I have the Bluetti EB70S.
I've had it for almost a year. Works great for powering the fridge and charging the phone overnight on our weekend adventures and that trip out west. No problems as long as it's plugged into the truck while driving. I do want to get a solar panel,
It fits nicely behind the passenger seat. As with other things bigger can be better. Others in our group are running refrigerators on different setups.

I bought a Jackery 1000 pro on sale this year, it worked well with my electric heater to keep the Pleasure Palace comfy. I'm sure it would be great for a fridge. I also picked up 300 watts of solar, but have yet to mount them.

Same. Lot easier to find and usually plenty of supply.

I don’t have any ammo and all my firearms were lost in a boating accident :)

I sold all my guns. I have copies of the bill of sale.
Every person I sold a gun to has since died.

I picked up one of those Silky saws before my trip last October, all I can say is wow they are amazing little saws. Possibly an underrated defense weapon because if you saw someone coming at you with one you’d probably think they are nuts and best not to mess with a crazy.

Also picked up a Sven saw for Xmas and eager to test it out this year. Already had a Fiskars X7 for chopping, the two small saws should have me covered for most other things. Final big piece to add is a M18 top handle 14” chainsaw - once seemed like a luxury but I’ve come across multiple blocked trails now where I was solo and needed it and had to backtrack, calling it essential going forward.

14" is a bit small, don't you think? Better get an 18" just in case

I accidentally cut my leg once with the silky saw. I can confirm it’ll get the job done

I’ve got the m18 chainsaw and it’s awesome. I’ve thought about getting one of the top handle ones but I probably don’t need a third chain saw lol

    Smart.
The few handguns I've sold privately I also made receipts for with serial#. Purchasers D.L and signature.
Also, met them in a big parking lot of a big retailer that usually has cameras.
    Run a ccap on them.
Turned a guy down once that had a bunch of assaults and disorderlies.

The 14" top handle model takes up less space and you can swap a 18" bar onto it later if needed. At the point where I have to play major Tetris games to load all this stuff lol.

What I woke up to this morning:
    20240113_133448.jpg
Take note of the mailbox (right of driver's mirror).
    20240113_133500.jpg 20240113_134310.jpg
When I finished with mine, I went over and helped a neighbor who was struggling with his driveway, which was as deep as the inlet of my blower (like the drift right in front of the blower in the 1st pic) all the way down his driveway. Took almost 3 hours to do the both and shovel my sidewalk/porch. Sidewalk/porch were 20" deep. I think we got all the snow we usually get in December and January yesterday.

On a side note: they are saying that Sturgeon spearing is very likely to be interesting this year as there very likely won't be enough ice to drive on by then, even with the predicted below zero temps predicted over the next couple of days. Lake Winnebago has almost no ice on it as of yesterday, Lakes Buttes des Morts and Poygan less than 1/4".

Under all of that snow, there is no frost in the ground!
