    They don't want you to.
If you die before retirement the family gets like $50 toward funeral costs.
    That's it.

True fact, when SS was created and the 65 year retirement age was set, the average male life expectancy was 65 years.

I made good money on covid vaccine stocks in 2020.
If there's one thing that's clearer than ever to me now it's that the govt. cares more about money than saving lives.
There are better, cheaper, safer vaccines out there that our FDA slammed the door in the face of because it wasn't made by Pfizer or Moderna.
Pfizer pulled in a record 1B in sales..

As someone who works in that sector I can confirm your claims are 100% false. Stop with the bullshit.

There's nothing to debate. I have no problem with you not trusting the government, but the claim "There are better, cheaper, safer vaccines out there that our FDA slammed the door in the face of because it wasn't made by Pfizer or Moderna" is 100% false and you should not spread misinformation. It is harmful to make such statements, unless of course you can share your qualifications as an employee of the FDA, a vaccine expert, an accredited doctor, or something else along those lines.

My qualification: I work in big pharma and do PC support for the top 1-3 executives of a company that make those things and talk directly with the FDA. Have been in the room on calls for these kinds of things, cannot repeat fine details of what I know but oddly enough I have more first-hand knowledge of the real things that went on in that timeframe. If you want to talk science with two of the leading experts in the entire USA about safety & efficacy of these things I can get their phone number from my Outlook address book.

Then you haven't been paying attention to anything other than what is shown to you.
I'm seriously not getting into it.
    These conversations go nowhere.

Nothing to get into. You are wrong on this topic, end of discussion. Spreading misinformation is harmful and that's why I'm taking such a stern stance on this one thing. If that ruffles anyones feathers here so be it because I can't tolerate such foolishness in 2024.

I'm done on the topic now too. Won't respond to more of this but will silently judge from across the internet.

It means that if this BS continues the mods will lock this thread. That would truly be a shame.

Yeah, if we could go ahead and not get this thread locked down, that'd be great.

Sooo... can we talk about batteries? My issue yesterday got me thinking about the life of my battery. It's the stock battery and is 4+ years old. I'm headed to Arkansas and some remote places and don't want issues...

I know most people don't proactively replace batteries, instead waiting until they're dead. I've bought 7 year warranty batteries and made it a point to replace or at least test at 6-7 years. What kind of life have you guys gotten out of stock new batteries in your trucks? I know mileage will vary here as some people have more complicated aftermarket setups with lighting and such, but looking to get your experiences as I decide if it's time for me to replace mine before the trip in March.

I'm also reading up on AGM batteries as I've never used one and want to know if this is a more appropriate battery for my particular application. Further notes: I do intend to add a new front bumper with more lighting and a winch at some point.
