    Right in my neighborhood!

Actually just got a Costco membership at that location a couple weeks ago. We’re DINK’s so I’d never had much reason to buy in bulk but being able to buy skids of water for work pushed me into it lol

I don't know if Missouri is the king of swing ship weather, but.... We're definitely contenders.

My senior year of high school, we had Russian foreign exchange students and we came in one morning all suited up because there was a foot of snow on the ground and more coming and the temperature was all of maybe 18° F with a good wind. They were joking instead of felt just like home. Anyways, we walked out of school and flip-flops and t-shirts because that's Missouri and it was almost 70°.

Or the infamous tornadoes of New Year's Eve 2010... The tornadoes hit late morning and during the calm aftermath it was over 75° hot and humid. Felt almost tropical. That night. The fireworks lit off at midnight. It was negative. 4. With a windchill of negative 22.

I've plowed snow while wearing shorts in April, and I've done family Christmas photos in t-shirts and sweat in the mid '70s. It's kind of wild out here sometimes

I dragged my receiver hard a couple of times @ Tigerton last year and think it's time to do something before I damage the receiver.

I have this one. She's taken some hard hits and is still in one piece. I did have to sawzall the male insert 'cause it was hitting my spare. The main plate is gusseted and has not bent. Highly recommend. Doubles as a step, too.

Guy that went to Moab with us bought a hitch skid made by a local guy when we got there. He said he needed to use an end loader to get it off it was bent so bad.

    I did not know this.
    Now I feel bad.
All my other skids, sliders and roof rack are RCI.
    Hitch skid is Supreme Suspension.

I said I was waiting until spring.
Between Larry getting all ambitious and Shellshock confirming it's 'fools spring'. upload_2024-1-26_11-6-25.jpg What a better opportunity than yesterday to get the aal in.
(disclaimer, stock springs may appear worse than they are)20240127_084705.jpg
adding there's 350#'s of sand and a spare in the bed. The height is relatively the same as the 1.5" block was without the weight. Should be a bit more rake unloaded.
